the will of only half of the british people
Well not even half seeing there are over 60 million people and only 17 million voted to leave

Porker Poker Dave Screwed this right up Royally
should we not now have a referendum of our membership of FIFA and tie that in with our Brexit talks? now that FIFA has apparently fined us & Germany over WW1 Christmas match and called it a "political statement"

I knew it would end it tears somewhere somehow - it probably now makes the referendum a pointless exercise and vote
Brexiteers before the referendum: Parliament must be sovereign
Brexiteers after the referendum: How dare those judges follow the law and rule that parliament is sovereign
The reaction has been rediculous though not at all surprising. Leavers are in meltdown and going on about unelected judges usurping the democratic will of the people and that they need to be sacked. What these judges did was follow the law that merely states that the PM does not have the power to trigger Article 50 by Royal Perogative, it must be triggered by parliament who are the elected representatives of the people.
The law clearly states "The judges know nothing about any will of the people except when that will is expressed as an ACT OF PARLIAMENT"
It does not matter about referenda, current popular opinion is not legally binding. Now you may disagree with that, fine. However just because you disagree with the law does not invalidate it. This is the only ruling that the judges could have made
This is what happens when you have a pathetically poor referendum. It was idiotic because it was a binary yes or no answer to a very complex question. There was no focus on how we leave and what the UK would look like after. Whether or not we would leave the single market, would we be a member of the EEA or will we be like Canada? Nobody even mentioned Article 50 until after the result. All the focus was on whether we left and not how and now we are baring witness to the fall out
As the saying goes failing to prepare is preparing to fail

Therein lies the point, they would have accepted the result utterly and completely; no Brexit thought they would have won.
Trying to overturn a demongraphic vote won by a clear majority by any means available (including wofting the race card) is wholely and entirely a remainer thing.
One of the main propaganda machines for remain is BBC, they even have a documentery coming out next week where the mix race presenter (in his radio times interview) is genuininly argueing that 'in the light of Brexit, people have this idea that the UK was this white land' and 'it is a mistake to assume Britian is indigenously white'

It hasn't been legally decided, as the referendum was only advisory.
Correct. In law nothing has been decided yet. The court judgement says that only Parliament can decide.

So UK judges decide on a UK legal matter.
Brexiteers: UK judges are the enemies of the people!
So you think an hand full of judges overturning a demographic vote by millions is ok?
Of course I assume if they tried to over turn a remain vote to a leave this would be fine?
Looking for loop holes.
You know what, I thought this May woman would have been good and seemed the right person for the job at the moment, but if she does try and do a u turn it will be the biggest gift to the Corbyn person.

hmmmm Farage said on the night if it was close he would have carried on fighting for a 2nd referendum
No the BBC is impartial Wackawoo like all tv media it has to be impartial unlike the press media thats why the papers dont want to be controlled by offcom because they spout out right wing shite and would be banned from doing so
its you brexit lot that are coming out with shite conpsiracy theorys that brexit will not happen.
the only way i can see it not happening is if we have a general election and labour and Lib dems come out as staying in europe in the manifesto and they win with a convincing majority say 50 seats. then they have a mandate

Why wouldn't a majority of 1 seat be a mandate?
