Have you seen the Russian stooge the orange stupid haired Wank Maggot who is in charge at the moment ?
Lets put it this way if he and farage thinks its a bad idea then you should be for an EU army
I know everybody likes to blame Donald Trump for everything thing that goes wrong with the world but he has only been President for two years and we were warned the EU had plans for its own army during the referendum debates four years ago, so unless somebody in Brussels has a crystal ball that argument does not hold water.
No but it shows anything can happen in any country and need to be prepared for the next conflict i dont see what the problem is as the European armys work together in all sorts of operations all over the world its just the command and control that will change
Which threat are you thinking about? do you really believe Russia is going to invade western Europe? hardly likely i would have thought, it would almost certainly end with tactical nukes being used and the end of civilisation so there would be nothing left to gain by either side. There is no logical reason for an EU army unless it is to quell unrest among the civilian population.
Here’s my 2 cents
The EU only wants an Army for 2 reasons, 1) So they can keep house, basically threaten non complying member states and 2) So they can piss of Russia, sorry I meant protect Europe from Russia. Freudian slip. Gotta watch that.
Here’s a view for the “we need an EU army to protect against Russia” people, lets not forget the EU wanted the Ukraine to join the EU.....that’s like chatting up a woman who’s out with a big angry dude who’s litterally right behind her. Not going to end well. If you don’t want to anger the Russian bear don’t interfere near it. Yet...the EU is a wonderful non aggressive, non dictatorship organisation that isn’t hell bent on controlling every corner of Europe that they possibly can, thus creating a Utopian United Europe.
Was it not our beloved former prime minister David Cameron who said that the EU should extend its borders from the the Atlantic to the Ural,s I thought the Eu was about trade not empire building.

So i ask yet again why does the EU need its own army?
Because deploying German troops outside their own borders is still totally unacceptable in Eastern Europe for obvious reasons. Have them marching under the EU flag and suddenly it's more palatable to some people.
^^ your talking out of your backside again German forces have been deployed in Afghanistan and other regions since 2002 and have been arming and training the kurds in syria

I've just taken delivery of a consignment of tinfoil hats. You interested?
I'm offering a discount to forum members. Don't worry, they didn't come from the EU. Trumpy sent them.
