EU wont take Spanish side because will look a cunty move on there side they are all about intergration and they would forcibly making 30,000 people change countries against there will. would hard to criticise Russia for Crimea then
my guess they will do something like they will have to do with the irish question and make a Common Travel area between mainland spain and Gibralter and allow goods and services between them.
would think the EU couldn't afford to resolve a territorial dispute as hot as Gibraltar and quite agree mate it would look a cunty move if EU took sides with Spain ovr the rock but then again, could they force Gibraltar to hold a referendum?

They don't seem to be getting involved.
They seem to be saying that Gibraltar isn't an issue for the EU, it's something to be resolved between the UK and Spain.
but they are because of something in the draft of negoitations saying that nothing about brexit deal applys to Gibralter unless both Spain and the UK decide. so basically its giving the Spanish a say over what happens to Gibraltar and wether the deal goes thru or not
The spanish have already said they will attempt to stop flights to Gibraltar airport when all the landing rights are up for discussion if that happens and they shut the border then gibraltar is cut off apart from boat

The Spanish already have a say over what happens to Gibraltar. All 27 remaining members of the EU do, if they wish to.
The EU seem to be saying that they will leave it to Spain and the UK to come to some arrangement between them.
Just wondering if there are enough troops there to fight off any Spanish invasion, mind you they have threatened to invade for years but never did anything about it
I wonder if Gibraltar actually felt disappointed with us for voting to leave the EU rather than voting the same as us and staying in

worse comes to worse can always put suicide vests on the barbery apes and let them lose on. those monkeys are vicious buggers
I actually like gibraltar been there a few times when family friends were stationed there when i was younger. great island with great people and very british.
Anyway cant let the spanish have them because then the french will be wanting the Channel islands back then the argies will think they can take the falklands back
What were we thinking sending that patrol boat out to that Spanish warship in Gibraltar waters yesterday? That probably made the Spanish navy think we don't have any bigger boats!! P:
