Didn't know it was, there are many immigrants in the UK, always has been, one of my great grandads was welsh Surprised:

probably not 637,000,000 in one year mind, all still here.
^ 637 million?! Huh Think you may want to try again there.
(23-04-2016 15:10 )SecretAgent Wrote: [ -> ]^ You clearly did not see the recent programme in BBC about Obama's White House. I suggest you watch it as it will inform your opinions about what US politics is about & how he has actually achieved some significant victories. Also what you describe as threats I view as telling it how it is when it comes to negotiating trade deals.

I saw that was on, but not being political I gave it a miss, this is why I asked.

However, stating out right we will come to you last, is a threat. What reason would there be to put the UK last? This would be nothing more than a selective choice.

Does the US trade with China and other non Euro countries?

He wants to remember that US is not in Europe yet Europe trade with the US, it would be like Europe saying we will trade with the US last but trade with china and so on first.

If you don't see that has a threat then you can't see wood for the trees.

Even before the pres made that threat I had brought this very issue up, the reason I did, was becasue I was reading that the only way the UK would be worse off out of Europe was if the rest of Europe CHOSE to make it difficult for the UK over trade agreements.

Seems they where right.

Obama has no great love for the UK, I think he's letting his personal feelings over his dad or granddad clould his judgment. I can't think of any other president that would say France was the US' closest ally, can you?

637,000 Tongue

the majority of which were not EU ones but from the commonwealth and places like the United States which will still come if we leave

Yes it is St Georges day today Dont know why it hasnt been mentioned much on the tv and in the media.

So welsh are immigrants now Tongue Tongue Tongue mind you cant blame them as north wales is full of scousers nowadays Wink
Wackawoo - what right do you think the UK has to be anywhere but back of the queue with any of the c50 countries we would have to negotiate new deals with? Also people with the skills to negotiate them are thin on the ground.

Liam Fox and Boris Johnson have both judged Barack Obama. You should tell them off too.
Quote:Other than being a black president, and not being political, what has Obama actually done? Let alone to win a nobel prize.

Whatever he has or hasn't done, I have zero respect for him over that threat.
So you want someone to judge him, but you're not bothered what the result is. Er...

Got anything to back this up? Because where i live virtually all the immigrants are from Eastern Europe.

637,000 from the US and commonwealth? I've not seen the specific break down but that looks a tad off to me.

I don't watch much TV, but it's a given that if an English person waves an English flag in England, it's looked upon as xenophibic racsit jingoism, the rest of the world are patriots of course.

I'd expect UK to have as much right as ANY country, either in the EU or out of it to trade with whoever they please.

I wouldn't except ANY country to be detrimentally treated becasue they are not doing the dictate of people in other countries. That's predjudice.
