Rees-Mogg has tweeted "The country needs a new leader, it is time for Mrs May to resign."
Now call me cynical but that sounds like a plea from someone who thinks she might win the vote tonight and then he's stuffed.
A number of people also telling him that the Conservatives elected her with a clear majority so just because he doesn't like the Brexit proposal why does he think they should have a new election when he is dead against a new referendum. The man's a hypocrite.
If you had a vote tonight do you have confidence or no confidence in Mrs May?

Confidence that she has got the best deal possible in the best interests of the country. I don't see any better deal and remember the Brexiteers were put in charge of this and achieved nothing. The Brexiteers are prepared to risk the economic welfare of this country - it won't be them that suffers the financial consequences - it will be us.
I see that Rees Mogg is being called a traitor for fermenting this and the Brexiteers are complaining that the vote is being held today because it's too soon. FFS they wanted to kick her out weeks ago and now they are not ready
Oh and before anyone thinks Labour would do a better job they are just as split - they've just handled it better by setting red lines that they know could not be met by the Conservatives (or indeed themselves).
Theresa May still plugging away like a bloke who has lost his erection insisting he needs a couple more minutes

I thought it would be worthwhile to try and clear up this matter of the EU sticker on the French APC.
I say APC in the singular, because despite lancealot790 twice using the plural and others echoing him, only 1 of the 15 vehicles deployed in Paris carried the EU flag. This was a vehicle which displayed the name HERMES with the registration plate 654 0293.
The French media think that the sticker was left over from an EU mission called EULEX Kosovo, a deployment of EU police and civilian resources to Kosovo which began in 2008. All the French vehicles engaged in this operation displayed an EU flag sticker.
Here is a picture of the same HERMES vehicle mentioned above taken in Kosovo in June 2009.

She ought to survive it easily.
She might promise to step down next year anyway, just to make sure she gets a decisive win tonight.
Would not surprise me if she did survive as most of our politicians are nothing but a bunch of gutless traitors who only got into politics so they could feather their own nests and if that means selling out 17 million people that is a sacrifice they are more than happy to let us make.
Now the sex text MP Andrew Griffiths who was suspended, has been given back the whip so he can vote for Theresa this evening. That's not the sort of thing they'd do if they were confident of winning.
Every vote counts of course, but I'd be surprised if she lost.
