More anti brexit propaganda then?

Problem is, it's been pushed down peoples throats that much that brexit will be nothing but a disaster and the EU is the land of chop and sherry that people are actually believeing this, even though the sky didn't fall in the day after the vote as was predicted.

People don't seem to understand that IF worse does in fact come to the worse and the EU punish the UK the UK will be a bit less rich than it is now, which will recover in time. Peopl are panicking like fools stired up by anti brexit propaganda.

Do people really honestly think that trade with the rest of the EU, which is worth billions to them, is just going to stop?

But that is the opnion of an anglophobe racist, so your opinion is wortless.

You need glasses. I'm not.

You've just always had issues with the way I write, like a lot do, you read things into it that is not there.

Not liking the one sided propaganda in the media and not liking the EU taking an unecessary hard line against the UK purely as a punishment is not panicking.

From what I can see of it, most people are more concerned and ripping Trump apart than what is acually more immediately important to this country.

Maybe because that's what all the logical evidence suggests..?

But the evidence in reality is there was no finantial catastrophey following the vote; the streets of England are not running red with the blood of immigrants. The place ticked along as usual but with the media scrambling around looking for every brexit negative story it can possibly find. And it's pretty clear that Brexit would have been a hell of a lot more easy than was thought (even by Brexiteers hopes), but it's clear the EU are doing everyhting they can not to let that happen.

Tis a qoute of Dickens, said by Josiah Bounderby in Hard Times. Essentially it's the same as 'streets paved with gold' or 'land of milk and honey'. A place where people have a misguided impression that things are a lot better than it is in reality.

The economy is going belly up. Retail sales have fallen in 3 of the last 4 months, including December & January. Now, you might argue that's not Brexit's fault - but you can argue it's the fault of the party who've been in charge since the Summer of 2010.

As for attacks on immigrants, there have been plenty of accounts of just such violence. But maybe you feel that's just coincidence too?Huh

In case you hadn't noticed, we haven't actually left the single market yet, and likely won't for another two years.

Isn't that just another way of saying "It's going exactly the way many Remainers predicted it would". Rolleyes

The only reason you're typing the equivalent of verbal diarrhea on here is to try and convince yourself everything's going to be ok.
It might be, it might not, we just have to wait and see. It will be a long time before there's any reason to panic, or breath a sigh of relief.

Even the most sceptical have had to ackowledge that post Brexit vote wasn't as bad as expected and EVERYBODY expected it to be bad, and that was what I stated. Wasn't the least serious recession in 2008?

As for attacks, like I say, the remainer propergandist like to find has many incidents as it possibly can and fill newspapers as much as possible with it.

How many attacks have there been? how many imigrants are there? clocking 4 million EU members alone.

Anybody but anybody can pick out isolated attacks that may or may not be as a result of Brexit, that is, they may have happened any way but are being jumped on a reported more. Nor will you hear anything of imigrants attacking indigenous (normally white) people either of which there are very many.

Anybody would think that the UK is nothing more than a cesspole of white rasict attacking poor innocent victem imigrants. When the reality is most imigrants not only live their lives in peace, but in a lot of cases have clear preferential treatment. What violance there is is relatively rare and goes both ways.

Not all muslims are terroist, not all vicars are paedophiles, not all men are sexist pigs cheating on their women, not every English person is sat waitng to beat up the nearest imigrant either.

Tell me somehting, in your day to day life do you often come across gangs of white english hunting down imigrants? becasue I have never seen a single incident, or is most of your information from the papers?

Indeed I have, it seems that other people haven't, particularly people like Jamie Oliver blaming Brexit for his resturants failing and all the others that blame Brexit for eveything under the sun.

No, becasue when I mentioned that the EU was trying to black mail the UK to vote remian, everybody, including you, scoffed at the idea. Prefering to think that leaving the EU would be the end of the UK as we know it, when in reality, leaving the EU would have been a great thing for the UK, how difficult it will be in the short term all depended and one thing and one thing only; whether the EU was going to carry out it's black mail threat and 'punish' the UK, including remainers like you, to prevent other EU members from leaving.

I always stated nobody can know the fucture, and has things went following the vote eveything thing went just fine, it all changed when that letter was delievered and then they became bastards; I think the really hit them then, shit, they REALLY are leaving and we are goign to loose the second biggest net contributer.

It should tell you a lot about how good the EU is if they have to go to these types of extremes to prevent others from leaving. Do you think they would be like this is one of the minor net recipients were to leave?no, it would be fuck of to you.

It's about time you woke up and saw the reaity of this, it's not the UK leaving the EU that would cause a massive problem for the UK but your beloved EU that wants to punish the UK and everybody in it - and it's all about the benjamins, what is it now I hear, oh whon we said 50, erm, we actually mean 100, soz bout that.

Nope, I have stated consistantly the UK would take a hit, how bad would depend on the rest of the EU, which looks pretty much now they are trying to force an hard Brexit.
