Can see this becoming like scotland and a neverendum threat of brexit every 10 years or so.
Oh yeah those fucking germans are so fucking awful bailing out Europe when it nearly went bankrupt. and buy so much of our stuff
The bastards !!!
Given what i am hearing about the deal I am leaning towards IN
Smoke & Mirrors.
I was voting "out" long before Cameron delivered this farce. I won't be changing my mind.
Smoke and mirrors...
Or out and out lies?
Not entirely sure why people think we need to be in europe so much, before we were we were doing quite well, I think there might have been an Empire involved.
Two world wars and a common market has completely drain the UK, europe all but brought Britian to it's knees.
All the europeans saying were are going to do this that and the other to Britian is nothing short of blackmail to ensure the UK keeps pumping the money in.
There's no reason why the UK shouldn't trade with europe, China, India and america and still be out of europe; none whatsoever.
Richest economies in the world. GDP (millions of US dollers)
1 United States 17,348,075
2 China 10,356,508
3 Japan 4,602,367
4 Germany 3,874,437
5 United Kingdom 2,950,039
6 France 2,833,687
7 Brazil 2,346,583
8 Italy 2,147,744
9 India 2,051,228
10 Russia[n 2] 1,860,598
11 Canada 1,785,387
12 Australia 1,442,722
13 South Korea 1,410,383
14 Spain 1,406,538
15 Mexico 1,291,062
16 Indonesia 888,648
17 Netherlands 880,716
European Union = European Union 18,527,116
So 6 European Countires in the top 20, Britian being 2nd top of those; and how many countries are in Europe? No wonder they want us in.
Then thats not enough there's all the large charity appeals as well.
We may be on the same techtonic plate, but UK simply is not part of main land europe; no more than Japan is chinease.
Yes but to deal with countries you need trade agreements and we would have to completely renegoiate with every country in the EU as well as the US and China have you seen how long these trade agreements take to complete why risk it
get the feeling we are sleep walking to brexit because of an issue immigration and this country will be the worse for it
Will take years and billions of pounds to extracate ourselfs from the EU. People go on about regulations but to trade with the EU producers and buinesses would still need to comply with those regulations to trade and whats to stop the EU adding Tariffs on British goods and services absolutly nothing
yes we are no2 economy in Europe after germany in 10 years we could be No1 Economy in the EU
Dont forget it was british banks that nearly destroyed our system in 2008 not european banks if it happened again outside the EU system we would be on our own we couldnt go to EU and Germany to Bail us out and our ecconomy would go down the pan.
Then theres the farming and fishing industrys how many farmers only make a living because of CAP payments. because they are getting screwed by the supermarkets how many would go out of business without these subsidys
Dont let the fear of Johnny forigner ruin what we have because we will be the worst for it
I'm sure that we are far better off being part of the grand federal state of Germany.
(Churchill must be spinning in his grave)
And if we need anything we can always send Cameron to charge round Europe with his begging ball.
I predict the referendum will go like this -
The main party of the 'out' campaign will be fronted by a grinning idiot who no-one likes. The 'in' camp will be an unholy alliance of party's who normally hate each other.
The 'out' camp will paint a picture of a brave new world where everything in the garden is rosy, based on pure speculation. The 'in' camp will use every scare tactic in the book and paint a picture of economic armageddon if we leave.
Half the voters will go into the booth still not knowing which way to vote. But, in the end, will decide "fuck it, better the devil you know" and vote to stay in.

Why stop there? Let's go back to the halcyon days of cholera and the black death?!
We would die on our arses outside the EU alas. As a jumped-up service economy, what have we got to sell to the world? The USA wants us in Europe for their own reasons, and China aren't going to do us any favours either.
