When I think about what what happened last Friday make me think we did the right thing in leaving and now for the first time we are seeing the EU in a different light. It does leave me wondering how water - tight that deal is how how many loopholes are there that the EU can exploit and trigger Article 16. TBh for a very long time the EU has been way overbloated and do feel the citizens of the member states come a very poor second and the original EEC ideal has been long lost. I think Scotland would do well to back away from rejoining the EU and stay within the Union, becauase only then are we stronger and with one voice tell the EU once and for all to fuck off.
What the EU did last Friday showed us what levels they are prepared to sink to to continue to exert influence over us now we're not part of the EU.
Liz Truss is celebrating that we have signed a trade deal with Albania. Terrific as it means we can export as many Norman Wisdom films as we want and they can export their drug and people trafficking gangs to us
^and their bloody awful cheap albanian wines!!
well, this conservative shitshow is going about as well as anyone with half a brain could've predicted:

Terence - do you think that is what the DUP want as I seem to recall that they were the only political party to vote against the Good Friday Agreement at the time.
yes. they had nothing to do with the good friday agreement and were against it. i think they see this as a chance to strengthen the bond between the uk and n.i and weaken the irish hold at the same time.
of course, the opposite is true for sinn fein. it's high stakes poker atm.
Certainly it will be a power struggle that will hit very hard one way or another.
Now what is the point of sending asylum seekers to be processed abroad in places like Gibraltar & such? just how & who would the bloody air fares there and
back be paid for Ms Patel? how much of deterrent to people smuggling would that be?
Patel's got the bit of wasting as much HO cash as possible between her teeth when the simple answer is to just close our bloody borders?

What's the latest position from inside Stormont?
^it's the same as it has been for 4 years.
8 members of Arline Fosters own party have tabled a motion of a vote of no confidence in her. Chances of her surving any such vote?
