Is there a big difference between them? Is one elected on a popular vote from people all over the EU and one not??
Tusk is head of the European Council and which is basically the 28 soon to be 27 countrys leaders
Junker is head of the European Commison basically that is the EU parliamnet i think
Tusk was elected by the 27 heads of country and was relected last week only one who voted against him was the polish one His own country
who wanted him replaced
Junker was elected by the EU parlaiment
is he allowed a formal letter of reply to Britain?
I see that Spain want to bring Gibraltar into the negotiations. Surely it's in our and the Spainish peoples interests to get a clean settlement.
After all there are so many of their jobs dependant on tourism.
Well, it seems like a test case for "is Thezza the new Iron Lady?"
If she saves Gibraltar, she is.
If she doesn't, she isn't.
The EU needs to be very careful about getting involved in territorial disputes. That's a very dangerous path to go down.
it wont happen Spain trying it on EU wont take sides Spain wont want to lose tourist money if they try to invade Britain will invoke article 5 of the Nato treaty and Nato will get involved. EU wont take Spanish side because will look a cunty move on there side they are all about intergration and they would forcibly making 30,000 people change countries against there will. would hard to criticise Russia for Crimea then
my guess they will do something like they will have to do with the irish question and make a Common Travel area between mainland spain and Gibralter and allow goods and services between them.
