The thing is that a bad deal is not the same as no deal at all. A no deal is absolutely inconceivable, a gigantic economic shitstorm that will literally instantly paralyse the country. Second referendum got to happen I hope

Some people may think this is a mental thing to say but this country needs a dictator
What this country needs is a military coup in favour of the Queen, all MP's sacked and sent Australia 91- way ticket I haste to add) on the slowest boat through shark infested waters no stop offs.
Then tlet prince phillip tell the EU where to go, job done.
I think her seat (Amber's) must be one of the key marginals Labour would target in any general election
she has a 346 vote majority thats only 0.5% lead in the last GE
doubt if there is one smaller than that in any govt seat
To add to all the previous Charlatans mentioned here is a story in the Times with billionaire head fund manger, ex-husband of Murdoch's eldest daughter & Brexit backer Crispin Odey (I wish Remain had more man of the people types like him & not all our elites, i mean head down the docks or the steel mills & you wont be able to walk 5 feet without bumping into a Crispin). It turns out Brexit is going very well for him because he is making money off the fall of the pound. So whilst the Billionaire backer of Brexit gets richer the Brexit voters get poorer.

I've said it before & i'll say it again, Leavers think that Remainers think they are stupid for voting Brexit but not as half as stupid as those who got you to vote for it think you are. The most amazing thing to me is that it is so blatant. David Davis spent the entire campaign talking about regaining parliamentary sovereignty then when he wrote the white paper on Brexit the very first line on Parliament reads "whlist Parliament has remianed sovereign throughout our membership of the EU it hasnt always felt like it" !!! During a call from a people's vote campaigner on is LBC show, Nigel Farage admitted that we as a nation have the power to deport any EU migrant if they had not had a job for 3 months or longer but we just dont use it. They told us that we need to get rid of FOM so that we could end open borders but FOM has nothing to do with borders it is to do with right of residency, Schengen is to do with border which we are not a part of, if FOM was to do with borders why would we have Schengen ??? The £350 million was never £350m because of the rebate.
The pound has fallen, businesses including ones run by leavers are setting up feeders all over the continent, companies are stockpiling supplies, Brexiteer politicians are running for the hills, Arron Banks has been refered to the National Criminal Agency, Leave.EU have been fined by the Electoral comission. The campaign was funded by businessmen who pay their taxes outside of The UK & it just so happens that the EU are planning to consolidate taxing to catch out the dodgers. Boris Johnson wrote two letters one on Remain and one for Leave.
It could not be more obvious, you weren't feeling well so you went into the chemist, got served by a Pharmacist that looks like the dodgiest of second hand car salesman, he hands you a bottle that says THIS IS SNAKEOIL printed on the front in giant letters and you still bought. Brexit advocates are laughing their asses off at Brexit voters, they cannot believe you bought it, the cannot believe they are geting away with it
The Remain camp has a billionaire backer of the same ilk in the foreign based scumbag George Soros the guy who has pumped millions towards protest marches, court cases, dodgy polling & generally everything else to help frustrate & stop Brexit & yet he very rarely sets foot in this country. This old fossil has previous history in making his wealth on the back of a drop in the pound (Black Wednesday in the 90's).
And reading through on your argument Stu you seem to be (again) subtly questioning the stupidity/intelligence of people who had the temerity to vote Leave by implying that us plebs were merely duped by Leave campaigners for their own gain.I can only speak for myself when voting but I am never swayed by some smooth talker who promises me the moon on a stick if we remain in the EU & WW3 if we don't without me doing my own research & would like to think millions of others did the same.
When in fact the concept of a UK becoming an independent country that isn't bound by EU laws & EU legislation where UK laws are often overridden by EU laws.A country that can set it's own immigration, environment & trade policies is a perfectly reasonable notion. But as this Government & the members of parliament & house of lords prove that when you have an establishment that is ideologically pro-EU by nature implementing the decision to fully break ties with the EU becomes harder work than it really is (by reluctance).Theresa May duping both Leave supporting MP's & supporters by setting red-lines on her negotiations capitulated on those lines just to push a shoddy,half-baked Withdrawal Deal in a sort of back this or not have Brexit ultimatum/blackmail.Listening to both ex-Brexit secretaries & other MP's who quit the cabinet have all mentioned that May & fellow pro-Eu civil servants headed by Olly Robbins signed off in secret much of the Withdrawal Deal without any knowledge of MP's & Davis or Raab.
In the several days off work (bunged up with flu) I've read extracts of the 585 Withdrawal Deal (more than Corbyn it seems) & it clearly states that in the Backstop Agreement the whole of UK will be locked in the Customs Union that we can only ever leave if the whole of the EU allow us to.Any future trade-deal with the EU will be set on the foundations of remaining in the Customs Union & parts of the Single Market. There are also sections that mention the UK Law being ad-hoc to ECJ & that any trade deals would be dependent on UK giving special immigration preference to EU citizens & EU still having access to UK fishing territories.
