If you believe the old bollocks about a no-deal scenario that all planes being grounded (& clocks stop ticking)then you probably believe any old shit some remain campaigner, anti brexit media outlet etc wants to feed & frighten you with & it looks like its working.When/if we leave the EU I'd fully expect some form of Visa implementation but Macron is merely grandstanding as the leading EU Statesman because in his own country he is polling lower than previous dead-duck French Presidents Francois Hollande,Nicolas Sarkozy etc.The tough talking on both sides is purely brinkmanship as no sides are prepared for an no-deal scenario despite so-called funds being allocated. The is a typical near end game chest beating exercise with either side looking to gain a bit of ground over the either with more concessions. The EU is over-playing the Irish Border card with either the intention to either eventually unite both Ireland's or lock the whole of the UK into a Customs Union & prevent the UK from negotiating trade deals with other countries. In the worst case scenerio neither Ireland's want a hard border & the rest of the UK don't want one so who would install it exactly? it would be the EU & if they did they would be held accountable for any future troubles. Besides there is already an invisible technology border that deals with different currencies, VAT & Tax Rates already which could be adjusted/added to.

And just off the record I wouldn't consider myself a Little Englander for voting Brexit but merely a practical Brexit voter who acknowledges that whilst we need to negotiate a good deal with the EU that requires security & medicines co-operations on both parts. But should the EU not want that than I sure as fuck wouldn't want to be kept an EU hostage by the back door. But by all means join the Anti-Brexit Delusionist March tomorrow to vent your spleen as it ain't going to make a scrap of difference & I heard there is going to be a downpour of golden showers.
Well well well Dyson the Brexiteer has just signed a new deal to make his electric cars guess where you would think Britain wouldnt you Tongue Tongue no Singapore 2 days after they Signed an trade deal with the EU Tongue Tongue Tongue

It really is beyond parody now, it shows just how much this Government has zero belief in what it is trying to deliver.

And this is no doubt one of the many reasons why:

yes you did??? you said we wpould be up shit street without eu checks....well its happened and we are still in eu are we not? bladewave
I said that the case of mad cow disease would undermine the position on the Irish border because it serves as a reminder for the need of animal health checks. Yes we are still in The EU and it happened but that is hardly an argument against the EU system of checks, all it says is that they are not perfect as no safeguard is. Generally however when an incident takes place the prevailing assumption tends not to be in the direction of decrease in safety measures, less barriers after a flood, less smoke detectors after a fire, but for an increase and greater vigilance.

It doesn't cause it but I hinders our ability to regulate infected animals
