Talking about illegal, I am not voting myself, but the neighbours are rammering on about it, aparently one came back telling them to take pens becasue they have pencils avilable, he was talking about it being able to rub the votes out.
Is this legal?
There are as usual conspiracy theorists banging on about the use of pencils. It's all bollocks. You can use a pen if you want as there are no rules preventing it. I even saw an idiot on Twitter had made a graph showing the sale of erasers had soared as we got nearer the referendum date.
We had the same rubbish at the Scottish Independence election.

Point is, you have to take them, so you have to turn up realise it's a pencil then have to leave or borrow a pen, can you leave and go back in?
You don't need to. Pencils are fine. Nobody tampers with them. You put your ballot paper in the box yourself. The box already has a seal on it & is not opened until it arrives at the counting centre. When each box is opened the voting papers are counted to ensure the number of ballot papers matches the number given out at the polling station. At the counting centre there are representatives of each party/side observing the count. Nobody uses a rubber.
It's all a conspiracy theory from total idiots.
Shhhhhhhhh keep quiet about it!!!

If we did that it wouldn't take Europe long to hijack the Pound!!
You should always use the pencil just in case MI5 need to change your vote later
I wonder how many babe show babes are going to get visits from Plod?
