I wouldn't worry about Boris. He got the cabinet equivalent of a written warning today. She's just waiting on him fucking up badly enough that he'll never be a threat in any future leadership contest, then he's toast
That's been May's plan from day 1 IMHO.
Oddly enough for Boris, he was spot on with his comments about the House of Saud, they are very unpleasant people. Unfortunately, they also buy lots of toys from us.
And then sell them back to us at inflated prices..like their oil
now where's that Sub?
Guy Verhofstadt is the European Parliament’s top Brexit negotiator and he is looking to give British people the chance to individually opt-in and remain EU citizens.
"If you don't want to leave the EU, you don't have to – become an associate citizen"
"An associate membership could provide all the rights of full European citizenship, for example the right to freedom of movement, access to healthcare in the EU and the right to reside in the EU. These associate citizens would pay some form of annual membership fee directly into the EU budget"
^
So what's he want in return (other than an anual fee)?
Individual people can just be part of the EU without the freedom of movement etc in return.
Ignore Verhofstadt he's the EU mirror universe version of Farage. The man is so rabidly "pro" he wants to completely do away with national identities and create a US of Europe.
He also looks like the sort of bloke you wouldn't let within a mile of your kids
Tbf it could be useful for individuals who spend alot of time in Europe, for whatever reason, but it means fuck all for the country as a whole.
It would be very useful for business.
But I'm wondering would we have to give up British citizenship and nationality in order to do so?

No, otherwise they wouldn't be British and not allowed to stay here.
Farage's parting shot as UKIP leader...
Quote: Nigel Farage has said he is relieved to no longer be Ukip leader because it had meant “having to deal with low-grade people every day”
However, fans needn't worry. He's not going to fade away into obscurity
Quote:Farage suggested one role he could potentially play for Trump was a Middle East peace negotiator. “I’m not suggesting that I can do everything, but I do think that I’m quite good at negotiating. I’m quite good at bringing people together,” he said.
