I just watched the Town Hall with Trump hosted by CNN. Both the moderator and the pundits are so foaming-at-the-mouth anti-Trump that he actually came out of it looking like the sane one.
Example:
CNN: “Do you want Russia or Ukraine to win the war?”
TRUMP: “I don’t want to talk about winning and losing, I just want the killing to stop.”
CNN: “Would you say that Vladimir Putin is a war criminal?”
TRUMP: “If you label him a war criminal, what incentive will he have to stop the war?”
Those aren’t illogical, unreasonable or unhinged answers.
CNN Headline:”Trump won’t say whether he wants Russia or Ukraine to win the war”
They can fact-check him all the live long day, but it won’t change anyone’s mind because CNN is so wildly biased against him that it really can’t be trusted any more than Fox can.
You're not alone in your opinion mate, everyone is saying CNN royally fucked it.
They decided to cash in rather than do the right thing and not host him. Idiots.
I refuse to watch the guy, the cringe is too strong, I get way too angry. lol.
Two things that did come out that interview
Collins said to Trump in regard to Jan 6th & his followers: "They listened to you & you know it" To which Trump agreed
CNN Legal analyst, former assistant United States attorney in the Southern District of New York & Director of Criminal Justice at the New Jersey Attorney General's office: "that is the cleanest, clearest admission by Trump that he understands that his words had an impact on the actions of his followers, that is the best piece of evidence that we have seen so far on that"
Trump also said in relation to classified documents that he took them all & that he had the right to
Honig: "One of the things you have to eatablish as a prosecutor in that case is knowledge and intent, right there he admits he knew they were taking anything and he argues, wrongly, that he had a right to take it but right there you say none of this was a mistake and none of this was unknown to him. I think those are two usefull pieces of evidence that prosecutors will have taken note of"
You don't always have to be an Andrew Neil or Jeremy Paxman berating the interviewee until they captitulate, you could argue that in using the town hall forum where he had a favourable audience and an interviewer with a more moderate tone that he felt comfortable and opened up but by asking questions was able to push him in a direction that he wouldn't go if it was one of his rallies.
Give them enough rope and they hang themselves with it.

Yes they are. Saying you just want the killing to stop means that if the war ends because Russia occupied all of Ukraine you would be OK with that.
How strong a chance does Desantis have of winning the nomination over Trump?
Don't know if it matters tbh, both are on the verge of being evil (corrupt values, backwards thinking, hateful etc), so lose lose for America with either of them.
The stuff Florida man has done while in charge of the state is not good at all, if he was to win and turn America into a nation of Florida, well...fuck...
Books being banned, gay people being forced back into the closet, women losing their freedoms and so on, just a whole lot of horrible.

More indictments for the annoying Orange, this time over the mishandling of classified documents.
The charges include willfully retaining national defense secrets in violation of the Espionage Act, making false statements and a conspiracy to obstruct justice.
It's the first time a former President has faced Federal charges.
He's fucked
How fucked?
I wish they could snare BOJO on the same charges here.
