TBF I don’t think Trump can violate the Logan Act. It’s meant to prevent private citizens from undermining the President in relationships with foreign governments. Trump is (for now) fully authorised to conduct his own international relations.
General Flynn and Jared Kushner were accused of this in 2016, when they spoke to Russians during the transition and advised them to not retaliate against Obama’s sanctions for interfering in the election. But it was never really taken seriously and they were never tried, much less convicted.
