I don’t disagree. Always a choice between a douche and a turd, as South Park lampoons so well.
Nevertheless, a nation of 67 million also elected a transparently pompous, entitled, self-serving buffoon that was replaced by a clinical moron who lasted just long enough to tank the pound.
So I’m not feeling especially smug right now

Mind you same could be same for us
well consiodering we've a had a cunt, a lettuce, and a bloke with with a wife who's got a wad of cash it's not bad going is it?
They must think their political system is better than ours at the moment and where we're getting all these PM's from!!
Projections indicate that the Democrats have won the Senate run off in Georgia to seal a 51-49 majority in the upper chamber of Congress.
It’s still a sad reflection on humanity that there was less than 1% difference between them, when Herschel Walker was so observably stupid!

Georgia has mainly been a republican stronghold for years and they would elect anyone if they republican Outside most of the Major cities Like Atlanta and Savannah then its deeply red neck republican

Closer to 3% and 100,000 votes difference at final count, but your point still stands, even that is far too close given how awful a candidate Walker was. Sad state of affairs when that is the level of politician they put up and he still manages to get that many votes
The fact that Walker got that close, Republican or not, shows just how broken the world is. The man has the IQ of a turnip.
No offence to turnips or other low IQ root vegetables, I mean except parsnips, fuck you parsnips! lol.

The case is Moore v Harper to be heard later this year and it will effectively end what passes for democracy in America when the fundamentalists on the court vote on it.

The oral arguments for the case above are being made in the supreme court today with a ruling for next June I think. They'll argue that Independent State Legislature (ISL) theory applies, which would allow the states to do basically anything they want regarding how to run their elections, including blocking a Governor's veto, gerrymandering however they like for partisan benefit and more voter suppression tactics, even if those tactics infringe on voter protections in the state's supreme court.
With a 6-3 far right majority it seems likely this ISL theory will be applied, unless 2 of the justices somehow find some common sense, unlikely.

Not that bright to start with, but 12 years as an NFL running back, he'll have taken countless blows to the head.
