I know the midterms won’t undo the likely appointment of kavanaugh next week. Was meaning it will turn people against the republicans and they as a result will likely get hammered in the midterms and lose one or both houses to the democrats who could then begin impeachment process on trump
Making them look like bloody Saudi Arabia or Pakistan

Was just about to post this breaking news. There is now seemingly a one week delay to the nomination to allow the FBI time to investigate the allegations against Kavanaugh to be investigated. Means the nomination now won’t be voted on for around 2 weeks
Interesting to see given that the nomination was expected to go through today what Kavanaugh & Trump do. Will he decide to withdraw his nomination or carry on or will trump now withdraw the nomination
Did the chairman just make up the "two hour rule" to get them out of there. I heard one of the others going "excuse me?", and he repeats two hour rule and walks out.
The term of reference for the check is critical. If they don't allow proper time to investigate it will simply be an act that looks like they are taking it serious but not actually doing so.
