I am not a fan of social media and have never signed up - and never will! However, They have to show some responsibility when it comes to the material that is placed on their platform - much of Trumps comments have for a long time now been close to the line (if not over it) so if the social media companies have finally drawn a line in the sand, then good - and about time too! It shows little principle though, since Trump is in the dying days of his discredited time in office. Had they shown this level of principle and standards they seemingly consider so important now - all along - some of Trumps more damaging influence may have been averted! The same with his gutless cabinet ministers - jumping ship now, when it is mostly already under water! Why not sooner??
Same issue with those that happily rode the 'gravy train' for an extended period - now taring strips off Trump from a safe distance!

Social media will alway be the devil
That sounds a lot like a dictatorship.
Nothing wrong with a dictatorship if the dictator isnt an idiot... russia seems to be getting along alright
If you think any dictatorship is alright, you haven't read the fine print. lol.
This thing with social media annoys me, the only reason why they haven't stopped Trump and his spawn from spreading hate and lies sooner, is because they were scared Republicans would be the ones overseeing things, now they know it'll be Democrats, they've grown a spine...it should not work like that, they are too concerned about money and not enough about moral duty.

Alexei Navalny might disagree...

They're not dictating anything. They're refusing him the use of their platform.
Just like an airline can refuse to let a drunk passenger on board a plane.

So the president isnt allowed but they let beheading videos on it and allow jihadi extremists to use it... nice to know what their priorities are.
Also pretty much every country that has had a dictator and doesnt anymore is completely fucked look at Libya its just rubble now
^beheading video's are not allowed on twitter.

They have been on facebook and its all owned by the same guy old zuckers lol
So Trump's made a scripted acceptance that he's been defeated.
He has agreed for an orderly transfer of power.
He was told by his staff, that if he didn't make the video, there was a big chance of being removed from power.
He now seems to have 3 priorities
1. Not to be kicked out before his term ends.
2. Not to be arrested for the riot.
3. Not to be impeached, and therefore be able to be available for election in 4 years time.
