The point is, in a trade war
everybody loses.

The same Trump that keeps threatening to put the military onto his own streets?
I doubt that very much.
^The same Trump who a whistleblower reports has allowed ICE to forcibly carry out hysterectomies on immigrant women. That has a touch of the Mengele about it if true.

Are they still being carried out?

Nope, not really. Like conventional warfare, losses are oncurred on all sides. It's all about who incurs the biggest losses/territory. Chinese exports have dropped significantly. Pathetic country is overly reliant on manufacturing. The US survived when it eased off foreign oil, it has survived this trade war.

Clearly you haven't seen the numerous pieces footage of Hong Kong protestors appealing to Trump's aid and the raising of the American flag. Their cause is a cause of liberation from Chinese authoritarianism. The cops in the US are up against 'woke' far left fascists. Not even a comparison lol.

Last time I looked, China was still in business as well. Interesting that your measure of success under Trump is 'survival'. I think the people of the US were hoping for higher ambitions than that.

Trump doesn't give a fuck about Hong Kong. The minute there's a sniff of a new trade deal, Xi will be Trumps new best friend and Hong Kong will be thrown to the wolves.
Just like the Uighurs...

You mean like the 'wall of moms' and the 'wall of vets' in Portland?
It's sad when you see gullible people swallowing Trump's bullshit, hook, line, and sinker.
I think when we gave up Hong Kong back to China I think then none of us knew how things would turn out for those living there, I think there is a part of me wondering if we should have negotiated a better deal.
In testimony to a Congressional Committee it has been revealed that the National Guard defending the White House in June from the largely peaceful protesters had stocked up on ammunition and had tried to source a device which when aimed at protesters gives them a burning sensation. Keep in mind that peaceful protest in a right in America but under Trump they are trying to outlaw it including Bill Barr suggesting protesters be charged with sedition which carries a sentence of up to 20 years.
How more cuntish can the president get?
I'm sure there will be an export market for it in China...
