I know (or at least that's what the rest of the world thinks), but it was pretty obvious that nobody would get away with what he was saying he was going to do.
From the Americans that were being interviewed on the night, it seemed local economical issues were more to play.

How was he protecting America? if that's what you mean, he died in Iraq. America isn't being attacked by anybody they are attacking several countries for oil and other reasons, under the thin vail of freedom. 9/11 and other attacks and ISIS are a direct responce to this.
Thoese middle east people are defending their country, we might not like how they run it, I assume they don't like how we run ours, but it is their country,

He has the Senate and House just like Obama when he first got in so he can bring in his own legislation and dump any of what is there that he doesn't like unless it's off the wall stuff his party will back him. But he is like the days of the week each day he will say something new.

From what I have seen I don't think he can. He's not going to arrest Hilary Clinton like he said he was going to do, not scrap that health care thing he said he was going to, politicians are full of woffle during elections.
Put it this way, with an hypothetical scenario. He may want to shoot all imigrants on site, he has all the power to pass this as law, but there's absolutely no way he would be allowed to.

He ran as supposedly someone who was new and had some radical ideas. He can't do everything he pledged but he has to do some or he will lose the Senate in 2 years and then nothing happens. Let's see
one thing we know is that this election was a train wreck between two terrible candidates.

I'm wondering if he could be impeached after his swearing in!!
I wouldn't put it past him in trying to arrest Hilary Clinton like he said he would, I agree politicians are full of waffle during elections look what happened when we voted in Tony Blair!!
Just occurred to me - rather than shoot immigrants on sight why doesn't he re - open Guatanamo Bay and put them there!! His billions could pay for it
