^^^ ha! Seriously, I remember when the worst label they could stick on him was "No Drama Obama".
Jeez, no drama! Remember that? I'd nominate him for a Peace Prize just for being professional, workmanlike and forgettable, but -- dammit -- he's already got one.
I haven’t seen Trump tweet yet about not getting the Nobel Peace Price. I’m sure the vote must have been fixed - maybe illegal postal votes or something.
Just looked at at the last week's polling results and it's quite extraordinary.
In April, Biden had just a 3-point lead over Trump. Well within the margin of error and threatening a 2016 repeat. Through the summer and most of September, that lead pushed out to 7-8 points and stayed there pretty consistently, despite the two conventions and the Supreme Court nomination.
Then the first debate happens and Trump contracts COVID.
Almost instantly, the lead pushes out to 10%-11%.
I'd be surprised if the debate did that, because the debate -- to my mind -- was just Trump being Trump and Biden being Biden. It was gruesome to watch, but not really unexpected.
So it must have been COVID. I think that Trump might be caught in a circular message. On the one hand, he needs to minimise and downplay the virus, because that's where he scores worst against Biden. If anything, he needs people to stop talking about the damn thing. But on the other hand, he can't help but portray himself as the conquering hero who "beat" the virus. His ego demands it.
Still plenty of time for one more "October Surprise", so I'm sure it's not over yet.
But it's not looking good for Trump.

The first post debate polls were released on Oct 1st, so must have been conducted before it was announced he had covid.
Yes, no surprises about Trumps performance. But the thing about the debate was it gave voters a chance to compare them side by side, in real time.
Eric Trump has been on US TV this morning and he rejected the idea of a remote debate saying that face to face debates are what they’ve had for 200 years for the presidency. Er no. The first presidential debate was in 1960 and the third debate that year was done remotely. Well done Eric you still hold the title of most stupid son

1. Alienate the US's closest allies
2. Mess up any long-standing environmental law
3. Largely Profit hugely from being president by forcing usage of his properties while claiming not to take a salary. Yet constantly golfing at his golf courses.
4. Tweeting as policy. Seriously, why?
5. Constant replacement of cabinet members. Do you even remember how his administration looked at the start of his presidency?
I mean, I can remember a time when Obama wearing a tan suit was scandalous. It'd be nice to have a government that didn't make the news by failing at something every week.
Awww, he 'alienated' ickle bickle allies? Did he say meany things about world leaders to make them cry? Well they can cry me a river. One of the biggest issues Trump raised about America's allies was NATO spending and how almost all the other members scrounge off American protection. Even Britain, a very distant second place spender just about manages to meet the required 2%. This wasn't even a partisan issue, Obama raised this issue numerous times but was politically correct about so no one cared. These so called allies, many of them who would still be third world wastelands if it werent for the Marshall Plan can cry all they want about hurt feelings.
2) The Paris Agreement was a piece of shit deal which aimed to punish the US whilst letting off China and India. Good for America
3) How?
4) WTF is that supposed to mean? He has his policy positions and orders and then he has thoughts, opinions and announcements through Twitter. Seems like you can't differentiate between policy and Twitter, not Trump.
5) Couldn't give a fuck. Since when was it a crime to shuffle your cabinet or administration?
Ah the old 'Obama's biggest scandal was a tan suit' meme, today spewed only by the most sycophantic arse licking Obama fantards who think he is Jesus reincarnated. Even principled left wingers have realised what a fraud he was. This is a guy who laid waste to Libya and then years later admitted the intervention was a failure (couldn't take responsibility though like the coward that he is, heaping all the blame on Cameron and Sarkozy). Trump hasn't done anything close as horrific as Libya. Awww but Obama spoke with flowery words. Now which decimated ISIS infested wasteland did the Manchester bomber come from, gee I wonder? I wonder if its the same North African wasteland where slavery was bought back in full force?
Shove your Obama worship up your arse lmao. The majority of Brits told him to stick it where the sun don't shine when we left the EU
Obama did such a great job that something as awful as Trump (as his opponents proclaim) followed his Presidency! Well done Obama!
Trump has had to cancel ad campaigns in several states because of lack of funds.
Maybe Slabhead could donate his pocket money...

This isn't even news, yawn
