Even then that wont settle it, Congress under Clinton passed an Assault Weapons ban but when the Republicans took back control they repealed it.
You are going to have to get money out of politics first and neutralise The NRA & other gun lobby groups

They didn't repeal it exactly, just let the law expire but that's just splitting hairs on my part. You are entirely correct about getting money out of politics. It's the only way to even begin to attempt to try and solve issues such as gun control, changing their health care system by taking influence away from drug and insurance companies, curbing the fossil fuel companies power and tackling climate change
i think Trump has more chance of winning and election than Johnson has!!

If Trump faces Joe Biden then Trump will win, if he faces Bernie Sanders then Sanders will win comfortably, at least in my most humblest of opinions
The other day Trump tweeted out a warning about the Hurricane and included Alabama in the affected areas. No weather forecaster had said Alabama would be affected and within minutes an official Hurricane service tweeted that there was no danger to Alabama.
As usual Trump refused to admit he was wrong even when questioned about it.
Today he gave an update and had been given a prepared map that showed the likely route of the Hurricane. This did not include Alabama. Except using one of his favourite Sharpie pens he’d drawn a loop from the official likely route to include Alabama
He’s nuts, completely bonkers

What if he came up against a woman candidate?

If it's Kamala Harris then Trump will win as she is essentially Hillary Clinton 2.0, Elizabeth Warren v Trump is probably 50/50 in my view. Warren has an outside chance of beating Biden or Sanders to the nominee but Harris has no chance really. It's between Sanders and Biden in my opinion, but there is a long way to go and things could change rapidly
imo bernie has no chance of the nom. i like warren/buttigieg. the absolute, complete antithesis to trump.
so we could be one step closer to a woman president?
