So that's as much a chance of you dating any of the babes you wank over from this site. I call that evens.
I thought that President Obama was a wonderful man.
If he'd been our Prime Minister I'd have probably voted him back into Number 10 until the day he died.
Eloquent, commited, hard working with a good sense of humour and when the oaf Trump got in I thought the yanks must be mad.
But I'm not so stupid, perhaps Obama was just better at pulling the wool over my eyes. In any event it's not my country and Obama wasn't voted in unaminiously, neither were either houses dominated by his party whilst he was in office.
Perhaps the election was rigged by the Russains to ensure a nincompoop was elected but perhaps it wasn't. I have no doubt that there was and remain a huge number of people in the US that love what ever they think Trump has done and don't want to see someone like Obama or Clinton or Biden in charge ever again.
Acordingly I expect the forthcoming election to be won convincingly by President Trump. The Republicans will strengthen their grip on the houses.
I expect that The Democrats will be destroyed in much the same way that Labour were last year.
Given such difficult times that might not be so bad, at least unopposed any party can rule comprehensively.
When re-elected I expect Trump to declare an official end to Covid 19 straightaway, outlaw abortion and make public his country's supply of nuclear weapons to Israel with the suggestion that they be used to threaten Iran.
He might order a landing on Mars before the decade is out.
I don't think that he's a suitable person to lead a dog but my opinion counts for nothing because my judgement's a British one.
I am with Goodfella on this one.
I vehemently disagree with Slabhead's politics and thoroughly disapprove of Trump for any number of reasons.
Be this at it may however I am even more fervently of the view that his voice should be heard as a matter of free speech as long as no forum rules are broken in the process.
His views are obviously very passionately held and provide a different and useful perspective.
To demand that anyone exit any forum on the basis of firmly held political views expressed without clear breach of forum rules imo represents the thin end of the wedge. This is not a club where only people of certain views are allowed in.
This forum is richer for the breadth of perspective on so many issues that it's population provides.
There are comments that sail rather close to the wind at times, indeed I have been guilty of that on occasion. But what I see here is blunt, frank exchange of views.
Whatever my verdict on Trump which is pretty damning the debate on both sides of the argument is healthy even if the difference in opinion is so incredibly strong.

I agree with all of this bit.
Whatever one thinks of his policies, there was no doubting his intelligence, eloquence, empathy. You just know this was a man who read his briefings, took advice, valued science and considered different options before sounding off.
He may have been 'scripted' and professorial and (God forbid) an intellectual elite, but he was also just plain
smart, and there was a time when that was something to be celebrated, not something to be ashamed of.
Perhaps the most offensive thing I've seen from Trump was that video from the hospital where he crows that,
"I've learned so much about COVID".
NOW!?
Now you've learned about COVID!? Now that you've had the sniffles, you understand that it's 'a thing'!? So what were you 'learning' while 209,000 of your citizens were dying from the damned disease?
Biden will win. However much we sneer at the yanks for all their foibles and stereotypes, I do believe there is something special and fated about the place. And I refuse to believe that it is so far gone that it could continue this aberrant experiment for another four years. Biden must win, because Trump must lose.
“He has experience now fighting the coronavirus as an individual... Joe Biden doesn’t have that.” — Trump campaign spokesperson Erin Perrine
Trying to make Joe Biden’s lack of infectious disease a strike against him.
That country is messed up.
I'm with Goodfella and Snookered. Leave the poor guy alone.
We haven't had this much entertainment since Wackawoo

It really does make one wonder how much of an oh so great job St Obama did that his successor is the polar opposite of him as a politician and was elected on a polar opposite platform. Kind of like when Obama himself succeeded the unpopular Bush. The problem is Obama fanboys can't see anything their idol did wrong so they just think that a bunch of racist/sexist/anti-science Americans appeared overnight.
