Oh I agree, it's the media reporting it, I think it was McConnell or somebody that said it.
Edit.

Bringing Iran into it is just a tactic to try and get it into Trumps thick head what a mistake he's making.
The President is CinC of US Armed Forces, that is one of his official titles. Supreme Commander is effectively the same thing.
It's worth noting that the Military are only obliged to follow legal orders so if he suddenly decides he wants to Nuke Tehran just because he's a bit peeved with them it's very unlikely to happen.
Thanks for putting me right
^ He's not a whistleblower, he's the current ambassador to the EU.
i Hope Cuntlugs Trump is proud of himself for withdrawing troops and now t seems the Kurds are getting massacred
He won't care, he doesn't care when people get murdered in his own country.
America hanging the Kurds out to dry isn't a new thing. Reagan ignored intercepts proving that Saddam Hussein had used chemical weapons against them in Iraq.
Bush Senior urged the Iraqi people to overthrow Saddam after the liberation of Kuwait. The Iraqi Kurds took up the challenge and the Americans walked away whistling.
Clinton supplied weapons to the Turks to crush their "Kurdish problem". They killed tens of thousands.
Part of the justification for the Iraq War was to protect the Iraqi Kurds. A few years later the Americans turned a blind eye as the Turks launched Air Strikes against them.
All this has happened before etc etc.
