Well, he just appointed new advisers in most cases, so I wouldn't get too carried away on that line of enquiry
Bet there is a betting market on how long Trumps keeps advisers

Not a Hardened rule like to do it when person is dead but they have done ships for live people in the past
theres a Sub name after Carter the Regan one was launched while he was still alive and Bush senior has one as well
Guessing Obama wont get one until the democrats run both houses again
Wonder how big the USS trump would likely to be?
^Big, orange and powered by hot air.
His stupid volte-face on Afghanistan is a doomed enterprise
Meanwhile I see the tensions with Venezuela have had results:

Quote:Venezuelan star conductor Gustavo Dudamel has confirmed media reports that his US tour with Venezuela's National Youth Orchestra has been cancelled.
Dudamel said the cancellation, which came just days after President Nicolás Maduro publicly criticised him, was "heartbreaking".
I can't see Trump unriddling this to approve the tour so as to stick it to Maduro.
I see in his Afghanistan press conference he seemed to admit that taking troop descisions is different when you are President rather than a knobhead throwing rocks at Obama on twitter. That's progress of sorts I suppose and it's only taken him 8 months.

The houses can only make requests or suggestions for names. It's the secretary of state for the navy who decides on ship naming, but he works under the direction of the president who is often the real decision maker.
Congress can still have a big influence. When Clinton was president they persuaded him to allow a ship to be named after Raegan, although presidents usually only allow ships to be named after members of their own party.
