Good one matelaugh
There used to be a Turkish channel that showed the lot and occasionally the cameraman fingered the presenters, but they wore masks to preserve their modesty.Huh
Just looking back through this thread and the Dutch licence issue, I may have missed a good reason why the channels do not move their licence, on the face of it it would seem a no brainer so long as the channels didn't use the licence to wave a proverbial willie is the face of OFCOM and simply turn the clock back to say 18-24 months back.
Let us not deviate from the path of this subject....I couldn't give 2 fucks what the French,Dutch,Danish or any other country do regarding television viewing....I'm british and just want what is rightfully mine...a free option to watch decent telly...

To right, I like you don't want to be dictated by anyone telling what I can and cannot watch in the privacy of my own home. I thought I lived in a democracy, I clearly was mistaken!!
I have to disagree with the two previous posters in their view of Europe. We, in the UK, are part of Europe yet, in comparison to the major democracies, are the most heavily censored in terms of sexual entertainment available on TV.

Why is it OK for our near neighbours such as France, Gemany, Holland etc to allow full sexual imagery on their TV screens (for an adult audience, of course) yet we in the UK have to be protected against viewing such images?

No logic here at all.

Could it be that Europe has matured yet Britain is still in the Dark Ages?
maybe i am missing the point but does anybody remember babestar i think it was called about 4 years ago ....4 on a bed with full nudity every so often a bit of graphic nudity thrown in? ofcom shut them down i believe but it was not for the nudity.... babestar was advertising a certain model as being underage all indirect and ineuendo fueled ....but they were warned on various occasions to stop and they did not, i really believe these shows use ofcom as a shield to hide behind......anybody thats interested can search for a directive issued to ofcom about its responsibilties to keep streams of economic revenue flowing.....its no coincidence the pay per view channels went from 11million profits in 2009 to 9 million profits 2010......throw into the mix the same companies are behind the babechannels that are behind the pay per view and you can see the stratergy behind what happening on your tv every night
