Is it within Ofcom guidelines for the girls to give massages to each other on screen, or is any contact between the girls allowed to be shown?

Given the way the rules are written (see link below), Ofcom would easily view 'massages' as causing serious or widespread offence.

Ofcom classifies the babeshows as advertisement (since they are essentially advertising the phone lines), and consequently, a slightly different set of rules apply compared to mainstream tv.

Well just got home after spending Christmas in the company of my Brother and family and guess what he has SKY TV and also 2 young kids. He has the whole 900 section blocked so no problems and no issues. It's really that easy, no big fuss and no big deal.

I'm hoping for less restrictive shows in 2013 and beyond. If porn offends you then don't watch the channels, block them. Those who winge about the shows to ofcom will eventually get their own just deserts.

Just wait until the likes of Songs Of Praise get's taken off the air so as to not offend the atheists. I've always said each to their own. Harm and offence is just a myth. Don't watch it and you won't be offended. If you choose to watch it then I say either change the channel, block it or shut the fuck up. Nobody likes a snitch.
if u contact ofcom you leave either your email or address right ? so people who complain that their kids have seen this that or the other should be prosecuted for allowing them to gain access to it when there are parental controls on everything now , not the channels fined , if an adult were to show a porn film to a minor and was caught he or she would be prosecuted , whats the difference ?the responsibility is the adult in the household simple as that !

True, but common sense doesn't work with Ofcom. The other major issue is rival channels making complaints, which has also contributed towards the over regulation. Shame the morons who own/run theses channels don't see that, though. Rolleyes
Ofcom are not fit for purpose and are pedlars of sexual imagery and adult hard core websites, their website is not age verified and can easily be accessed by children, these children can then be strongly offended and traumatised when reading explicit sexual details given in Ofcom broadcast bulletin's concerning the babe channels, not only that Ofcom advertise hard core websites as well , check out this link it's from Ofcom's own licence details part of their website, and then click on the website link of the channel details given by Ofcom and check the images shown http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/tvlicensing/cs/1599.htm .
Other adult channel website details are also advertised by Ofcom in the tv licensing part of their website were children can easily find them , Ofcom isn't doing it's duty of protecting minors from explicit sexual imagery on it's own website, in fact Ofcom is helping promote them to the under 18's as their website need no proof of age .
To me this is a very simple concept to understand, Ofcom must allow adults over the age of 18 to make there own decisions regarding what they want to watch it's that simpleImportant why are we having this song and dance about this goodness only Knows.
In my opinion i do believe Ed Richards will not be in charge of Ofcom by the end of 2013, however before we start jumping for joy we must be mindful who might step in his shoes, lets hope it's someone with more common sense and more tolerant minded.
It seems Ofcom doesn't appear to be going anywhere for the forceable future which means all we can only hope for is a change at the top and soon.
Ofcom are a Dictatorship it's plain and simple and must be stopped, and unless other powers step in, we just have to hope that the successor to Ed Richards will bring some sanityImportant
