Fining Chatgirl? Eh? Cbeebies and Disney will be at risk next.
(16-11-2012 19:28 )Chilly Wrote: [ -> ]That's an insane amount of complaints. I know the channel is question happily provides daytime wank material for guys with a foot fetish, but surely that can't be it. Also, the channel is fairly shite, so what the fuck justifies that amount of complaints is just bizarre, even more so if it was missed by the forum. bladewave

Missed by the forum, are you being serious Chilly. When did you last see anyone comment of anything risque being shown on any Babe channel. There is a definite paranoia among'st members when there may have been a glimpse of lady parts broadcast, the elephant in the room syndrome kicks in and everyone keeps schtum for fear of alerting big bad Ofcom, "do me a favour". And saying that did anyone notice Sophia Knight flashing her fanny in her see through knickers last night.
I still get updates regarding 'incidents' from some on here via PM, but the channel in question doesn't really get much attention this forum. So, the only people who know what happened are the rival channels. Wink

Nah, that'll be the BBC's new adult TV channel 'CBoobies' lol!laughBig LaughBounce
^^^ Sometimes certain women are given leniency, from my point of view, and I think sometimes channels tend to ease up on the censorship here and there.

Why mention this openly though if you feel it could attract Ofcom, or attract people who want to bring down certain channels?

I hate to be that guy, but usually when something is mentioned, the shows become tame again for a bit.

Reading that gives the impression that the UK is run by the Stasi or KGB. Sex crimes?

It's not surprising this culture of fear has emerged, though. Ofcon encourage it by welcoming quislings snitching on their colleagues.

True, but when I see Tweets from angry fans of women who've been unfriended, mentioning how they will complain to Ofcom about them, to get back at them, it does kind of make me wonder if they will use this forum to their advantage.

I just don't see why it's so difficult to stick to PMs when mentioning slips, flashes etc, or to not post revealing caps, and only leave them in the videos.

Is it so hard to say "Awesome night from so and so!!!", as oppose to "Great pussy flash from so and so! What a night!!!?

True, but if Chatgirl can get in trouble so can the ones aimed at a more mature audience.
Ofcom's latest broadcast bulletin came out yesterday, issue number 218 and dated 19/11/2012 .

Just had a quick look through to see if any babe channel get a mention and they do .
Storm Nights has been found "in breach" concerning a incident that took place on the 29th of September 2012, someone alerted Ofcom that a girl was show on screen that could be heard shouting obscenity's, Ofcom requested Storm supply them with a audio recording of the incident, Storm failed to do this as they said they had got technical problem that night so couldn't supply the audio of the incident , so Ofcom found them in breach for failing to keep and supply audio recordings as required by law .

Other babe channels that get a mention in the part that details complaints received but not thought to be worth investigating are:.
Storm Nights for something done shown on the 25/09/2012
RLC 3 got a complaint for something done/shown on the 09/10/2012
Playboy TV Chat got a complaint for something done/shown on the 10/10/2012
Chat Girl got 3 separate complaints, a complaint for something done.shown on the 28/08/2012 and a separate complaint was made about a different incident on the same date , and another complaint was made about Storm on the 29/08/2012

I may have missed some as i have only had a quick look up to date .

Ah, that old excuse. Rolleyes Easily the most lame excuse to Ofcom these channels consistently make. What's even more clear now is the simply fact that someone is going after ChatGirl TV big time, even if those three complaints didn't warrant being investigated. Yet we know there's still more to come for them.

On one hand it's good to see complaints not being investigated, however, it's sad that even though the channels are seriously tame now, they're still being put under Ofcom's scrutiny. Really is a sorry state of affairs.
