Wasnt part of the problem with Bangbabes that whoever was running it kept on breaking the rules even after Ofcom found against them, did not defend themselves when investigated by Ofcom and failed to supply recordings?

Its one thing to challenge Ofcom, another to ignore them and hope they go away.

RLC having some staff and facilities in common with Bangbabes does not mean one is the other under a different name - a lot hinges on management.

Between 16 August and 7 September 2010 Ofcom formally asked Bang Media on several occasions, and set various deadlines, to provide a recording of the programme. The Licensee failed to provide a recording of the programme. Ofcom therefore asked the Licensee for formal comments on its compliance with Condition 11 of its licence, and in particular the obligation to provide Ofcom with a copy of its output “forthwith” on request. Bang Media did not provide any comments in response. Ofcom therefore proceeded to reach a decision.

Phil Barry is the managing director of RLC/Playboy TV chat, to my knowledge he wasn't a manager of Bangbabes, but RLC was part owned/run by Bangmedia at the time Bangbabes went bust, Cathy Barry made a post on here somewhere stating that RLC was in partnership with Bangmedia or something like that, so from what i can gather when Bangmedia went bust RLC then became independent and carried on on their own, they took over the remaining Bangmedia channels and took on some of their staff, RLC is not Bangmedia under another name, but they were in association with them as stated on TV and by Cathy, RLC just grew more from the ashes of Bangbabes, RLC even used to broadcast a program called Bangbabes after 12am every night month's after Bangmedia went bust, this was not just a carry on in the program guide from when Bangbabes were using the channels, it was put in the program info guide after Bangmedia stopped broadcasting .
^^^ In reference to my above post concerning the relation ship between RLC and Bangbabes and what Cathy said about it i have just found this post of hers replying to a post asking if she will still be on Bangbabes .

I thought i'd find the post of Cathy's just in case i'd got it wrong and didn't want the RLC rep having a go at me for posting speculation again lol .
So to me it looks like not only have RLC inherited some Bangbabes staff and Channels etc, they have also inherited the malicious complaints made by the same rival channel boss and girls that helped in the demise of Bangbabes .
To me this is utterly ridicules childish behaviour, if RLC other rival channels can't do what this channels does, then what happens they throw there toys out the pram, and start complaining to OfcomHuh the trouble is that when they do this they are giving Ofcom ammunition to put more pressure on the channels, this is bloody stupidannoyed
Anyway moving on from this, I personally believe that when Ofcom goes I think that the old ways will return, in otherwords the kind of adult entertainment we had say 3-4 yrs ago. We must remember that the reason we've lost the majority of our channels is down to Ofcom, and if the ITC were still in charge I do believe things would have stayed the same. Nevertheless as it's been mentioned the babe channels have not helped themselves, the main cause is that they never confronted Ofcom when they had the chanceImportant
I do believe that the babes themselves are pissed of with all the antiquated rules and regulations, and I think the producers have had enough to!! Question will the producers rock the boat? Probably not, maybe they're just biding there time waiting for Ofcom to depart, and hope the new regulators will be more tolerant, maybe the channels have insider news that we're not privy to? Who knows.
I think all we can do is to wait and see how 2013 unfolds, that's pretty much all we can do.
Bang Media Ltd is still active as is Red Light Central Ltd. which started in 2011. They could of very easily started up a new company after purchasing assets from Bang Media Ltd and offered some staff contracts with them.

There were no remaining Bangmedia channels, unless you mean the ones they were renting from Playboy.

If they are still active they have to be careful as Bang are persona non grata at Ofcom and they can declare people involved in decision making to be not "fit and proper" to run a channel. Camera crew should be OK but it could extend to producers, directors, compliance officers and senior decision makers, not just the licence owner.

Bang Media Ltd is still active (iv'e just checked) but Bang Media (London) Ltd is in liquidation (iv'e just checked), from what i can gather there was three Bang Company's , Bang Media Ltd, Bang Media (London) Ltd and Bang Channels Ltd , it was actually Bang Channels Ltd that were issued a winding up order when they couldn't or wouldn't pay the Ofcom fines (i think)

Yes i meant they took over the remaining channels Bang Babes were broadcasting from that Playboy was the licence holder of, obviously Bang Babes were not using their own channels/Licence at that time because Ofcom had already revoked their licence and they had been removed from the Sky EPG some time before this .

That's right. It was Bang Channels Ltd but also Bang Media (London) Ltd. The latter held the Freeview licence. This is the link to Ofcom's judgment on the matter:

Bang Channels Ltd holds three TLCS licences: TLCS-933 (Tease Me), TLCS-1015, (Tease Me 2) and TLCS-1231 (Tease Me 3).

Bang Media (London) Ltd holds one DTPS licence: DTPS-078 (Tease Me TV) (the four licences referred to collectively as
“the licences”, and Bang Channels Ltd and Bang Media (London) Ltd referred to collectively as “the Licensees”). The Licensees are under common control, and have the same directors and compliance team.

Bang Media Ltd is totally unconnected with Bang Babes and is in a completely different area of business.

As you said previously mr mystery, it was the channels that were licensed through Playboy TV that remained on air for a short time and were then taken over by Phil Barry, becoming re-branded as Red Light. So I agree with your premise that RLC is the successor to Bang Babes. All the RLC music is Bang Babes music (about time they changed it really!).
RLC and bang are not and have never been the same companies, bang help pumpkin films set up a tv channel(RLC) as they were not competition at the time so the channels had a very good relationship which is what Cathy is on about,
when Bang went bust RLC were in the right place at the right time to use their long standing and good relationship with playboy to take on the channels that were now free,
they also signed a lot of the girls and production staff up who were out of work and re-branded the channel away from the bbw 40+ market to the main stream channel we see today,
