Now don't get me wrong, I like to have a moan just as good as the next man does but has anybody seen the mince that's being served up currently by our European cousins such as eurotic tv, Babestation24 and Sexysat TV. As I've stated previously I no longer have an astra 1 satelite and going by the shit I've seen on the webstream's I'm in no hurry either to aquire one.
Firstly on the subject of eurotic tv, it's tamer than RLC is these days. Even when you do get the glimpse of the pussy it's hardly worth the bother seeing as the camera operator does his best not to show it for too long. Erotic it ain't.
Babestation 24 - Like the the UK based version, just instead it's always having a bad night, enough said about that disaster of a channel the better.
Sexysat TV - Like looking through a shit stained window, although it's all out pussy, to be honest you're still more likely to see a better show on myfreepay cams.
Yes you can watch all that shit which our so-called liberal counterparts who don't even have ofcom to hide behind as an excuse for a rank show.
I just thought it might be interesting to point out that in the grande scheme of things our ofcom based channels are anything but lagging behind and also in approaching this discussion from a slighly different angle.
I still hate ofcom with every bone in my body but I just wonder would the shows which we crave really become a reality in light of the non ofcom regulated channels on the other satelites. Food for thought.
PS - I'm currently working the nightshifts, hence the reason's for my lack of cap's so it's going to be the middle of next week before I'll be able to add my usual contribution on that front.
Agreed, the Euro channels are shit. I used to watch mainstream Italian, French and Spanish TV for the eye candy. Italian state TV (RAI) used to have a Saturday evening show where two teams competed and there used to be a round where good looking wives paraded in lingerie. Some shows had topless scenes or strip contests. Doesnt seem to happen these days. Spanish TV used to have a variety show that featured a dance troupe several times, always one scene would be a hot semi naked dance. Stopped several years ago.
Free Europorn phone chat channels on Hotbird stopped a few years ago when the EU brought out rules to "protect" children. Late night porn used to be what kept little local channel solvent. Despite that there are a few obscure corners. There was a channel called Petka that had a nudie phone in quiz each night from about 11. One (clothed) woman would read questions and take calls. Callers would be rewarded by the camera cutting to a stripped who would shed all her clothes over a hour or so. On a good night she would rub over and under knickers and show a lot of open leg fanny shots. Admittedly there was not a lot of that, but my point is they could. There is still some interesting stuff on Free To Air European TV, but 99% of it has gone. Some is due to the rule change but a lot must be down to different attitudes. Who knows if that is down to the recession. I suspect there is a lot on encrypted channels, and more are going encrypted each day, but that's no use to international culture vultures.
Don't get me started on the euro channels. UK TV in general is far better quality than many euro channels.
Very interesting posts from SB and Eccles, i was under the impression that europe seemed more liberal towards porn in general, however it seems even in the EU attitudes have changed there to. SB did raise a good point regarding Ofcom, i like all of us hate Ofcom with a passion, however the question we have to ask ourselves, is that if Ofcom finishes would we be better or worse off regarding our current UK adult content? mmmh food for thought?

well in comparison to last years shows i think we can all say they have improved beyond my expectations,if you would have asked me if i would be happy enough with what we have at the moment this time last year then the answer would be a big fat yes

Can't wait for the UK to leave the EU, will be the best day as EU makes things so much worse for the UK. Great crested newts for example aren't endangered in the UK, yet they have to be treated as endangered due to most of the continent they are rare, and for planning in the UK great crested newts can't be reason for not allowing planning. This links trust me, as if you convert that to the babe channels, the UK has more babe channels than most EU countries and the EU are trying to tar the UK with the same brush as the rest of Europe which it shouldn't be.

The difference could be whats available on subscription channels as those arent counted as FTA. Italian satellite channel La5 used to feature a stripping weather forecaster who would remove the cloud symbols adorning her body. Very cute she was too, but Sky bought the channel and it went encrypted. It could well be that 5 million Sky Italia viewers still get it for free and it still has naughty content, but technically it is now opt in. (I dont know, just speculating). So UK viewers dont get to see what millions of Euopeans do.

One size fits all policy makes sense for aeroengines and food processing, both of which have strong international aspects, but not for local matters like planning consent, criminal law or morality.
