There is a new licence with a company associated with Babestation and it was issued at the end of November 2012. The name of channel is similar to that of the broadcasting company, maybe it will be renamed or the list doesn't reflect a name change yet.
As luck as it i recorded BS1 on freeview Ch 172 last night, i have only just had a look through it, and to back up what SB say's Tiffany came on the mic at around 4.20am and announced that they had now got a new licence for this channel and said what SB quoted she had said ie "we can now touch, we can now lick", Freeview 172 used to have the Ofcom licence so it does look like they have given up the Ofcom licence and are now using a Dutch licence .

PS, Ofcom do not list in their bulletins any new licence's granted by any overseas regulatory body's , they only list licences granted by themselves, If BS on freeview Ch 172 has got a new non Ofcom licence then it will not be in Ofcom's bulletins, but if they have given the Ofcom licence up for this channel then that will be mentioned as "handing back the licence" .

Sounds about right. Just wish it was another babe channel that had a Dutch licence.

This is really quite interesting. I wonder to what degree they're talking about regards touching? Are we finally going to see some of this rumoured 'freedom' the Dutch license permits?

Will be watching tonight with interest (not something I say often about BS).

Agreed, but surely a double Dutch will make a slight difference, if only it being the cameramen not crapping themselves everytime one of their girls accidentally flashes minge. I don't think the odd flash of pussy - intentional or not - and a bit of nipple licking is going to pull the BSX viewers away.

For a change, I'm going to look optimistically at this one. As far as the babeshows are concerned my pessimism has always come to fruition - maybe it works the other way round too Big Grin
Just wanted to know if its possible for all uk babechannels to be Dutch regulated or is it too costly.

Dutch licenses are only awarded to dutch companies. Cellcast's parent company is based in Netherlands, hence they can get the dutch license, all the other UK babechannels are UK companies.

I think Playboy has a presence in the Netherlands too. They would possibly qualify I think if they wanted to go that way...

you are spot on mate playboy is Playboy Tv UK/Benelux Ltd (for anyone who don't know Benelux = Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), so would guess all it would take is playboy to put their name on the top of all the paperwork and tell ofcom there office is now in amsterdam

Yes indeed even though much of their operation is UK based they DO have an office in NL. The presence on NL soil would help them qualify...

I'm hoping this episode will encourage the rest of the channels to be 'more inventive'... I'm hoping for a 'domino effect'... so to speak...

Even the channel who shall not be named has 2 NL licenses in their back pocket for a rainy day....!

So if Babestation have this new licence.

Does that mean there is the possibility of proper 2 4 1s again like a few years ago?Huh
