The whole context thing is a smokescreen that allows those in power to have sexual content while banning others. Shakespear never had nudity in his plays, or even women, yet some modern productions do. Thry claim artistic context, but it is not authentic, was not what the author intended and is therefore redundant. Likewise orgy scenes in Wagners Ring cycle.
The other view is that whatever the intention, a horny 15 year old will find a 10 second nude segment a turn on, however genuine the intention. It might be a school sex education film or medical health show or a dramatic scene emphasising two peoples deep and abiding committment to each other, but the 15 year old will just get the horn and jerk off to it later.
The unwritten rule seems to be that a sex scene is acceptable if it is too short to jerk off too, or lacks close ups, but younger audiences are quite capable of remembering it later (and imagining more detail).

On the subject of erections - in recent times on the Playboy / Adult Channel and TVX channels erections can be seen all over the place. Quite often you can even see them being wanked by the female performer. I have no idea whether the rules have changed, or the interpretation used by the channels has changed, or what, but it never used to be allowed and now it seems to be.

ITV shows On The Buses episodes and the Film Holiday On The Buses at the beggining shows a womens top falling off..In the daytime the scene is cut yet when shown after 9pm the scene is shown..Now in real life this a PG rated film so why the cut?? Now on my day off a few months back at 4pm in afternoon Midsommer Murders was on and Barnaby was questioning someone at a live nude painting class..In the background a women was stood their naked with boobs in full view and fanny area with mild pubic hair...This was a prolonged shot for say 30 seconds at 4PM IN AFTERNOON !!!!!!
