Thanks to all those who have emailed oftwats..It might not seem much but this government has done uturn after uturn thanks to the folk on the street complaining and protesting..As to why female genatalia is so taboo on uk tv is my next barrage of emails to those involved..I have a feeling its oftwats who allowed erections to be shown on tv after never,ever,ever allowing one on uk tv since tv was invented,yet the fucking cunts dont allow female genitals.I want an answer as to why because BBFC and my doc do NOT differentiate ..

There were three complaints against Playboy in July, all of which were assessed and not investigated.
This really is extraordinary. I wonder if it's because the channels are currently so tame or does it represent a change of attitude at Ofcom?

unfortuneatly i think your right because almost all of the adult content we enjoyed has been banned and until the viewers/callers start to vote with their wallets and stop calling the girls the bosses of the channels are unlikely to fight for less stringent rules regarding their output
hardly surprising when you think that some of the girls are not even topless at 11 some nights,the double pair of knickers brigade is present most of the time ,as well as the regular statue models who just about manage to breath in and out , us men must be thick as shit to sit there night after night for a second of something what never happens ,i sure wouldnt waste any money on a call to them no more!
I am tending to think its because the shows are so lame/timid that nothing much happens now..I have mentioned before that i only have freeview but some girls are their most nights covered up.I remember when they used to make mistakes (perhaps on purpose )but now if something is going to happen the cameras move out of shot like shit off a hot shovel.

I also happen to agree, if the channels were going for it big style and they were ofcom complaint free then sure it would be cause for celebration. In many ways this latest bulletin actually encourages the channels to remain this tame, I know it sounds strange but if Ofcom went all guns blazing against the channels like they have in the past then we might just see a reaction but yes when you have to wait until at least midnight to see any kind of nudity and with it very weak it's no great surprise that recent shows have passed without incidence
Ofcom look like they have won judging by the last week's output. RLC are the only channel with anything like decent output.
As I said on another thread, the cynic in me wonders if it is all a ploy to avoid seeming repressive during the Olympics period when an international audience might make comparisons with China.
If the comparison were like for like I might be celebrating but much of the content is so tame these days its difficult to see what anyone could complain about or what Ofcom could uphold.
Also bear in mind it is August and the civil service pretty much shuts down for the month while staff take 2 week hols.
Was watching one of the comedy channels earlier an a trailer suddenly splashed Keith Lemmons arse all over the screen.
One thing this is interesting in the latest Bulletin is the Not In Breach finding for Ho[m]eland. It featured a chase sex scene at 9:07 with no below the waist nudity. Despite the proximity to the watershed that was found not in breach. Offensive language in the opening credits was not in breach either.
