a hell of a lot of criticism has been fired at the channels of late,but from what i can make of it myself is they dont give a fuck what we are saying on here otherwise they would at least get the reps to fight their corner as to the reasons why the shows are so up and down , ofcom is again at the centre of it all but not all the blame can be just down to them,how can you justify putting a show on one night with danni harwood doing her best and follow it the night after with a model in statuesque mode and still in her bra after midnight ?this has to be down to the shows themselves , the summer is almost over yet i have not witnessed anything to resemble it in any sets or themes , bath time and shower sections are all be extinct and the 2 for ones are a total waste of time , ive recently read on here what happened just after bangbabes demise and new rules came in, the shows were shitting themselves in case ofcom came knocking on their door but the shows even then were better than now, its not as if any of them have had a severe reprimand for breach by ofcom so what is their reason or excuse ?come on here and at least explain yourselves is what i am asking them all

For my two penneth I find it really hard to grasp how little the babe channels do about fighting their own corner. It's like they've hit their 'sales target' and just don't give a fuck anymore. They have no comprehension about developing the business. Another thing that pisses me off massively is the shear contempt they treat us with.

The only way to get the lazy bastards off their arse's is for them to start loosing a lot of money.

I know we have had the swearing on the mic debate dave, but I have been told by a person who works on one of the channels via twitter that its legal after a certain time. there's no argument on this surely??

It doesn't look like the babe channels are allowed to use strong sexual explicit language at any time , Elite TV were found in breach for letting their girls use explicit language on the mic , this was detailed in a Ofcom bulletin that came out on the 08/11/10 (issue number 169), PrimeTime TV the owners of Elite were found in breach for their girls using sexual explicit language on 2 separate dates , one was for what the girls said on the mic beetween the hours of 22:00 to 22:14 on one date and the other was at 00:30 on another date, Elite conceded this shouldn't have been allowed and offered Ofcom their sincere apologies for airing this content, Elite blamed a inexperienced producer and informed Ofcom that they had removed the producer that let this happen from their employment .

I also recall the elite tv swearing fine, but that did involve the word 'r#pe' which is stronger than normal swear words. Also like ive said previously, someone working on the channels has told me it is legal. Plus if you don't believe that, why would ofcom allow television x to show 10 minute freeviews on freeview every single night full of swearing? Both are sex channels.

The encrypted channels that broadcast strong language on their 10min freeviews throughout the night are not classed by Ofcom as teleshopping channels , the free to air babe channels operate under teleshopping rules, according to Ofcom the free to air babe channels because they are classed as teleshoppng have less leeway in language explicit content etc , this imo is absolutely stupid , like you say on the encrypted channels freeview sections the girls are allowed to use explicit sexual language , so what's the difference ? they are both advertising something , it's just Ofcom being vindictive towards the free to air phone in babe channels imo .

Firstly, it doesn't matter a jot if 'someone working on the channels' told you, doesn't matter if a high court judge told you, or the damn Queen for that matter. Ofcom make and apply the rules no-one else, it only matters whether they say it's allowed or not, and the fact is they don't, they make it crystal clear that explicit language is a no-no.

Secondly, as stated already the babe channels are classed by Ofcom as shopping channels, as their main purpose is to advertise their phonelines. TelevisionX is not classed as such, so the rules that apply are different. You may disagree with that, but that's how Ofcom see it, and once again, they are judge jury and executioner here.

I would totally agree with your statement munch, had this guy hadn't said what he said. I can't see him plucking out of thin air, to make me happy. I will try and push him on it, and get back to you. Anything's better than 'naughty' 'filthy' every gord dam night!! Lol.
P.s I do phone, I just want recorded stuff with more fruity language on it!
