In danger of going off topic here, sorry in advance. But to answer your question, yes. If your a golf tragic like me then no amount of bad weather with stop me getting my weekly fix. Rain = waterproofs & brolly. snow providing it's not too deep, orange golf balls. frost & ice = just be careful on your feet Fog, manageable, but can reach the point where you can't see your target or other golfers & becomes pointless & dangerous, same applies to playing in the dark.
The only no no would be sound of thunder, with the chance of a lightning strike. All golf club have strike rule around this type of weather condition, but basic common-sense applies, refrain from using your metal golf clubs & get to a safe place asap, clubhouse or your car.
I do recall carrying on once in snow, for one, your golf ball will pick up snow when it rolls on a fairway & worse still on a green & renders it impossible to play. On this day getting back to the clubhouse was a task in itself as the 10" wheels on my golf trolley grew to the size of one off those monster-trucks.
We're made of strong stuff up north & will not let a bit of bad weather put us off.

i saw a bit of that, and i didn't even realise.... but that's cause i'm so used to going into shops and not seeing half the people wearing masks or practising social distancing right now, it's almost like none of those rules are still in place. i blame a lot of the shop staff, who should be following their own signs and refusing to serve people who fail to follow both rules. i pushed someone the other day in a shop cause they came up without a mask and stood right next to me. i gave them a right mouthful too about themselves, but they looked back at me like i was the one in the wrong.... pissed me of even more tbh. the staff in the shop also looked at me like i was mad.... i told them they should be doing their job and enforcing the rules, but they just shook their shoulders like it wasn't worth their effort, as they're ok behind their screens.
