With a new job that I absolutely love, stronger finances than for a long while and a rekindling of love for hobbies of the past it would be so easy to conclude I should be blissfully happy.

But no.
For a number of weeks now I have been bursting into tears for no apparent reason at random times. At work and at home.
Desperately trying to work out why and frustrated that I can't.
Feeling guilty for feeling like shit when there does not appear to be good reason.
Now it has started affecting my sleep and eating patterns.

So now I have been referred to a talking therapies service, prescribed anti depressants and been given a sick note to be regularly reviewed.

A reminder that even in what seem like the best of times the worst of feelings can manifest themselves.

depression, as i assume this may be; is an even crueler mistress than even me.... bladewave

Always devastating to lose a loved pet. I went through the same 2yrs ago when my dog frankie had to be put to sleep at the grand old age of 14. Still miss him so much now

My usual nightly ritual would consist of making sure he's comfy on his cushion placed on the sofa with his blanket covering him up. I'd turn off the telly and give him a fuss before locking up and going to bed. I was so put out last night I forgot to lock the doors. Sad
Pet loss is considered as much of a personal loss and devastating as a loss of a loved one..
These anti depressants making me so tired as well as ratty. When I am not crying I am just in a foul moodSadannoyed or asleep Rolleyes.
