Pissed off with the energy companies ripping me off.
Loyalty seems to be a thing of the past.

Has anyone had any problems switching? As I can make about a 25% reduction.

Done it a few times through USwitch and been really easy. In fact on one occasion I switched to the same supplier! USwitch had a special tariff which Scottish Power didn’t have on their own site. I even gave SP the chance to match it but they said they couldn’t so I went ahead with USwitch Big Grin

quite literally, they have the power! lol.

Having changed recently from SSE to SP i've found it lasts longer, which was promised. The old supplier even sent me a cheque for unused credit which I've put on new key.
Moles turning crusty... ffs
Anyone got any ideas how to fix a sky box that is just stuck with a yellow light on it ?

Ive tried all the things sky has advised me to do like holding the backup button on the box for 60 seconds but nothing is working Sad
Five minutes power off, five minutes power back on (but leaving it alone), then it usually boots up correctly. Then just take it easy for a bit, so basically no quick channel hopping until it seems to be working as normal.

There's a shit ton of different things suggested when you search tbh, so if I were you, I'd just spend some time looking up stuck on standby, standby light stuck on etc, there's bound to be somebody else that's posted similar on a tech forum.
Think its dead... part of me really wants to open it up lol but i contacted the person i bought it off on ebay, it says i have a 5 year guarantee so hopefully he will replace it but gotta go the weekend with no tv

Good thing netflix and prime exist

Following on: the orginal company rang me to ask what they needed to do to keep me.
Which made me think that we should all go on the comparison sites, find the best deal and then email the original company and give them a chance to match or improve on the price.

Gas and electric sorted, next it's time to get the water on a metre.
