My sincerest best wishes to you Crackaddict.
RIP to my old laptop and all my babeshow videos. I thought Toshibas were supposed to last forever, but 11 years wasn't bad.

It's strange though, I don't feel as upset as I thought I would if it ever happened. So on to a new era of windows 10 and an enormous empty hard-drive waiting to be filled...
You might want to buy an equally enormous external back up drive to go with it Wink

I'm so paranoid I've got back ups of back ups eek
An update on my disaster :

Yes I did have an external backup drive but I bought it back when 160GB was massive. Thankfully I had all my pictures and documents on it, recently saved, but not much room for many videos.
So I've been busy downloading for the past few days and managed to find some of my favourites again. It's funny that when I tried to clear out old files in the past I could rarely make myself delete anything, but now that I have to make an effort to get them back I realise how few I really want or actually looked at. So yes it's annoying but I think most is replaceable given time.
One happy note - it occurred to me this afternoon that a lot of videos I posted on here are uploaded to the web and I have found 180 videos still alive on Sendvid and Mega, I was surprised to find so many given how long ago they were created. So it's true what they say, "it's good to share". Smile
Not only pissed off, but embarrassedBlush that I'm sharing this with you, mainly to prevent a similar incident happening to any of you find citizens. Anyway after a lifetime of practicing good dental hygiene 2 or 3 times a day, I've somehow managed to flick toothpaste in my eye. Never happened before & I'll make dam sure it never happens again. We've all got shampoo or soap in our eyes at some point in our lives, imagine that pain multiplied tenfold. Not good, just be careful.Important
