^^^ Not just me who gets bad 3 coverage
O2 have said they will compensate customers who were affected by the data outage yesterday.
Pay monthly customers will get 2 days free and PAYG customers will get 10% free. Wow, their cup of generosity truly runneth over.Rolleyes
^^^ i got 2gb of free data for next month from Tesco mobile Tongue Tongue Tongue

It's all very well O2 offering customers a couple of quid here and there, or free this and that; but what about those people (idiots) who run their business off of their mobiles, do all their calls, banking, etc thru their smart phone, and likely lost thousands in business by being out of contact for more than a day? or if they went bust, who pays their dole and that of their employees..?

(those who don't know me, please add sarcasm as appropriate)
You should switch to vodafone Smile
Rolleyes "Upgrades ?"

An irritating pop up message has been appearing on my TV demanding ACTION! every time I change the channel advising that the cable box is out of date and needs replacing, with a weblink to order a new one "with no cost and no change to contract" bladewave....and...surprise,surprise...the link doesn't work, "unable to complete this online".
So have to ring a call centre. And discover that to receive this upgrade I have to change the TV bundle, get a new Wi-Fi hub, install the stuff myself and pay an activation fee for the privilege.
So it's all arrived (or rather, I went to collect it) and had to spend about an hour fiddling with cables with a useless little plastic spanner they sent, and had to disturb all the lovely spiders' webs that had accumulated on the previous nest of cables down the back of the TV - surprising how many as it's only a few years ago that I had to do all this the last time to change the last box to an HD modellaugh - and then sit for another hour or so watching first the Wi Fi hub "update" itself, then watch the Tivo box "update itself".
And after all that the new box only has one HDMI outlet and no SCART socket to connect with my DVD/HDD recorder so I can no longer record programmes from non-Freeview channels. (Without scouring internet tech forums and buying HDMI splitters and HDMI to SCART converters and God knows what else, to receive a black and white picture with no sound in all probability).
Result. Rolleyes
No modern set top boxes have scart sockets.
It's almost as if they don't want you making dvds of their programmes eek
Im super pissed
SCART sockets? How is life in 1995? laugh
