My humble apologies - I was confusing this with the 'Pissed off, justify it and cheer the fuck up' thread.

It pisses me off when someone sends me a request, sounding all "matey" and polite, but after they get the vids they can't even be bothered to acknowledge that it downloaded or thank me for the effort. And as for a rep for the hard work? Too much to ask obviously! Sometimes I wish you could retrospectively take back the vid to teach them that manners cost nothing.

But that takes nothing away from the majority of members of this forum who are reasonable and decent people - I just wish there were more of you.

I'm fairly sure the head gasket has gone on my car, it's sipping coolant like nobody's business! Just what you need at Christmas time eh? Fucking engine-out job too and I really can't be arsed. Not impressed

Dont panic just yet,unless you have oil in your coolant making it looking milky or water in your oil which can be detected by removing your oil filler cap and checking for a white residue,that would indicate head gasket failure,what i would suggest is to take your car to a local garage and ask for a compression and pressure test,this should determine where the leak is coming from,it might be a water pump,radiator,thermostat or even just a perished hose,hope you get it sorted out for the least amount of wonga.
