Every time I turned my Freeview HD box on I kept getting a pop-up telling me that there were new channels & I needed to retune now or risk missing them; even if I'd already retuned it only hours previously.... I found a slide option inside the 'settings' section that allowed me to turn this off... Now I'm back to being dumb of new channel updates, but without that box annoying me every time I turn the box on. Am, I the only one able to retune once a month or so, all by myself, without needing to be told all the flaming time?

Yes I was a victim of one of these utter twats a few hours ago...waiting to talk to Honey Scott for the very first time, and yes it had to happen, the very thing I prayed would not happen. Some fucktard bastard calls her ahead of me, and proceeds to fucking yabber on and on and on about himself and nothing in particular...wasting time...and shattering my patience which inevitably snapped and I never managed to get through...
That kind of fucktard is the sort who would go to pubs years ago on his own, end up making other people give him a wide berth because he bored the arse off them by talking shite about himself the whole time, end result being he’d end the night alternately drooling and licking the beer mats.
I know that I have one or two issues myself, but these fucking people should be banned in my opinion from calling night shows. I don’t know who I’m pissed off more at, the fucktard who called up and wasted time..the channel for allowing it to happen, needlessly adding costs to my phone bill, or myself to allowing my patience to explode..to such a degree I threw the phone towards the wall..I don’t know what state it’s in yet, still feeling too angry to care about it at the minute...
