Good to see ilovemegan has got his usual thanking mob out in force. That didn't surprise me in the very least but I really fail to see what his point of view exactly is other than trying to come across as some sort of PR or spokesman on behalf of the channels.
Have some of you lot got short memories or have a lot of you merely come down with amnesia. I've been on this forum now for over 3 years and when I hear some people talk about the recent shows being good it really does leave me feeling sort of isolated in my assessment.
Why defend something that's really not worth the effort. Will I be tuning into tonights shows again, yes, why you ask if I'm so fed up with them. Out of mere curosity, the same curosity that has kept me watching them for the past 9 years. I've seen the good the bad and the ugly.
I would never go as far to write them off completely. Afterall I still enjoy capping some of the better efforts. I like to document them for a number of reasons with one of them being purely for historical archives.
I just want us all to put some perspective on the current shows. Most notably recently has been the poor form of RLC. A channel that is renowned for it's ups and downs. At the end of the day you'll always get a brutally honest opinion from me and that will never ever change.

To answer Kerravon's question I'll tell you exactly why so many people have fucked off this forum the past few years. And they have done this for a number of reasons and delining standards into the shows has become a primary factor in all of this.
In the past this forum used to have lively debates, these days the very moment anybody dares to critise any of the channels they get hit back at and attacked by the fanboys from all quarters.
For example how many times have we heard such so-called put me down lines such as "If you don't like it, then don't watch it" I'd be a very rich man if I had a pound for every time I've had to read through such trolling comments.
The very moment this place stopped becoming a debating forum was really why so many fucked off. A debate should always be healthy and if you ask me we all know exactly who is to blame for this place turning into a school playground.
Just like the shows the standard of debates has also sadly deteriorated on this place too

He does it all the time. He seems to go around promoting debate and discussion but it's the same old shit when someone disagrees with him. Most of the time he just avoids replying when people like iloveMegan make him look stupid.
what I think has driven people from the forum is forum members who basically think their opinion is right and the only one that matters and if anyone stands up to them in reasonable debate then they go after them in a pack mentality calling them various things like troll, fanboy, creep and idiot.

Curiosity? of what? you know the show your going to get, and you know its not the show you want. I would be bored watching these shows for 9 days in a row let alone 9 years!!
Even if your only on Freesat theres so much more entertainment available free to air rather than watching something you arent enjoying with the promise of jam tomorrow. Film 4 is showing some great fun films in the evenings at the moment which will more than likely bring a smile to your face than a tear to the eye from watching a miserable looking girl wave a phone
In general the channels is just there if you are bored and shouldn't be taken this seriously to the point where you have to debate whether or not the shows are good, it just won't worth it.
Can't believe there was talk of 2013 bringing improvements, that ain't gonna happen and every person on this forum knows that but they still cling onto hope.
One thing for sure is that there is paranoia amongst all channels as they are convinced ofcom watch every show, every minute, every hour, example- siobhan was on RLC today and as soon as there was a glimpse of her knickers the cameraman had to zoom into her face for her to adjust herself, that's how PG the channels have gone. I mean ofcom make the rules but they should still calm down and stop panicking.
So overall in my view the shows shouldn't be taken seriously , there is no hope for improvement and all producers and models are satisfied with the staleness on show
