@Scottishbloke - If Scotland goes independent in 2014 I look forward to seeing you at the helm of the newly-formed 'Scofcom', where fanny lips on babe channels will be compulsory under their guidelines.

Yes well you see what is happening with the stuffy English rule. Historically speaking the Scots have allways been more laid back than you lot down south have ever been. I mean lets just start with our traditional national dress.

Scotland - The kilt - No comparison Also you are not a true Scotsman if you wear underwear under the kilt, something which we all love to have a really good laugh about. If somebody at a wedding for example has got that pissed and fallen on their arse with all exposed then it's something which we would all have a really good laugh about. It's not offensive, it's fucking hilarious.

It is even worse if you are found out to not to be a true Scotsman, you never live it down either no win situation then.

But I think my point is more or less saying that the Scots aren't really offended by nudity in the same way that the English are. Infact I'd go as far to say that we couldn't give 2 shits up here when it comes to censorship.

If Scotland does gain independence, I even doubt we'd even bother with a TV regulator. If we do then I will be applying to be head of Scotcom if that is the case.

What I would say to the babe channels is do what you want so long as the channel is placed in the appropriate section of the EPG then no problems and I'd imagine that would be the common view of the SNP Party.

Up here we have far too many political business to discuss than give a shit or even waste money on such a regulator. We Scots are historically tight when it comes to spending money, believe you me we would only lightly moderate the channels and I'd imagine that would be as far as it would go.

The English are the ones and have always been the ones that have created the myth of the stiff upper lip which simply is not the case when it comes to scotland.

SB,I'm not liking the whole anti english rhetoric all the time,fair do's you want Scottish independents but you can't keep blaming the English for the lack of nudity & sexual depravity on the babeshows...
I'm sure they were running things down south when the babeshows where in their so-called heyday that you loved so much?

Well down to ofcom rules being so strict as of the 1st November ETV will no longer be broadcasting on SKY anymore, it has been an absolute disaster for them. Ofcom rules and tame shows similar to what we have to endure has pissed off the whole of Europe. ETV was a short stint that ultimately failed. Is this the beginning of the end. Will the UK shows shortly either leave the UK satelite or go bust, why - Ofcom.

It's not altogether surprising that Eurotic want to pull out of the UK platform. I'm sure the big money is in night shows and it was never on the cards that they could provide a UK-level night show.

Ah, massively exaggerating things in order to suit your own agenda, which is one thing you and Ofcom certainly have in common.

Sadly it's official. Halloween will be their very last show on SKY. Time to get more people protesting against ofcom. The tame shows are beyond the joke, what a massive blow to lose ETV. I'd allways hoped that they might somehow be able to work around the ofcom rules by buying up their own slot but the fact they never bothered with this always told you that their show on SKY just had an air of uncertainty about it.

I wonder how many more will go bust, the babe channels are dying of death right now, the models are nice to look at but the shows are anything but erotic.

Just have one flick through all the channels tonight and in all honesty they are all one by one going through the formulatic motions
