Sadly the whole babeshow scene is looking increasingly dead in the water to me.
The number of callers seems to be dropping off left, right and centre, channels have gone to the wall with nobody eager to step into the breach and this is happening despite the majority of channels having the lowest call costs ever.
Throughout the history of the babe channels they have always evolved. It started with the clothed early days of Babestation on the gaming channel which by 2006 had morphed into a fully fledged adult channel on the network.
Shortly after that came Babestar, without a doubt the greatest of them all and their full nudity shows. I don't think there's much doubt that most people on here would say that the kind of content shown on Babestar would be exactly what they would expect from a show of this kind. Sadly it wasn't allowed to last and from it's demise in 2007 there followed a bit of a post Babestar lull.
Then in spring 2009 along came Elite. They shook up the market in the same way Babestar did but without the nudity. Suddenly we were getting girl on girl sessions together with sets we hadn't seen before. I still remember classic girl on girl sessions in the early days of the channel which were genuine turn ons. For the first six months there seemed to be a wow moment just about every night. This meant that existing channels had to up their game to stay with them.
By 2010 knickers were coming off again across most of the channels. For the first time since Babestar we had some full frontal stuff on the Sport channels. The channels were still keeping people interested.
Sadly since then it's been a different story. A combination of Ofcom and less imagination from the channels has led to a situation where viewers pretty much know exactly what they'll get from each of them. There's the odd noteworthy performance but in all honesty these are now few and far between. There's still nudity but it's become a sort of uniform nudity which has become almost unsexy. You know the girls and channels who will and you know the girls and channels who won't. The element of surprise has largely gone and it would seem many callers have gone with it.
A lot of girls across various channels often look bored and disinterested and from the kind of interaction you see on screen it seems that quite a few of the callers these days ring up for a nice chat. This seemed especially true of the channel that's recently departed and worryingly there's been signs of those types of callers having transferred to other channels since it went. No surprise I guess that this type of caller has emerged in a world where blokes are buying wish list items for girls they don't even know.
The likelihood is that there'll always be enough demand to keep at least one or two of the channels going though I'm not sure there'll be much more than that going forward. Frankly, the channels as a whole just aren't able to keep enough people interested anymore.

Absolutely spot on with everything you say Marcce. The channels were once adult channels with appropriate content to go with the description. But now you can watch any channel and any girl and you have seen everything that they have to offer in the first five minutes. That being a tame pretend of what they once were.
At times I will check the channels at 10, watch a few films, come back to the channels at 2am and have to check that my set has not frozen because the same models will be in the same positions as 4 hours earlier. Right now 2 babes are respectably dressed with tops on, though there is one really cute pair of shoes on a "nice" looking babe, who sadly is wearing two pairs of thongs. Nice but not arousing.
There was a time when two channels broadcast a couple of hours of live sex every night. At its peak there were multiple girls enthusiastically going at it all through the shows, doing things that cannot be described in a family newspaper.
Details were sometimes hidden, but their enjoyment was genuine, full sound was broadcast, and looking back on the clips they were genuinely horny. Some of the stuff would not technically break the rules now, apart from the sound, but first the blatant content was clamped down on, then repressive enforcement was applied to softer stuff. All live encrypted content was dropped.
A while later there one or channels resurrected the format, but with very wooden performances that looked as if the performers were ticking items off a list. And two very short lived weekly - yes, weekly - series. One got pulled after explicit trailers were broadcast and headlines had been grabbed, and a bunch of annual subscriptions had been sold, but by then the encrypted live sex genre was well and truly dead, killed by over zealous regulation.
Finally BSX launched, and it was promising at first, but lost its oomph.
Is there still a market? Free internet porn and webcams cant help, but they arent the same and dont target the same market. Plenty of viewers would never pay for a 1 on 1 webcam session, but would pay £5.99 to see (and possibly hear) a live TV sex show. There are people who happily pay to ring up and have a tame chat with no sexually explicit actions, but at £90 an hour their numbers and duration must be limited, but there are also plenty of people who watch Emmerdale. That doesnt mean football fans dont exist.
After watching last night I think the channels should do more costume nights, not just on Halloween. Maybe once every few weeks.
The principals of the people that run this forum, and some of its members are somewhat in question here. Girls who have recently joined the babechannels from the now defunct channel no one can mention, well they are warmly welcomed. Even the ones that defected are forgiven for jumping ship.
