^ Wasn't there some talk of figures in the old Sin thread? I suspect the answer is very variable dependent on the ambitions and intent of start-up.

Denni's twitter profile pic doesn't have the RLC logo & Feb 2017 on it, it has the Playboy tv chat logo & Feb 2017 on it .
Playboy tv chat isn't a RLC/Pumpkin Film productions show these day's

I'm really enjoying reading the current debate on the difficulties that may arise for a new girl coming into the industry.
I really loved the point about how a host needs to have some natural skill in terms of engaging with us, but also how that talent needs to be given time and support to reach it's full potential.
Also I can see another interesting discussion possibly arising in regards to the logistics, economics and structure behind starting a channel, which is fascinating.

Pumpkin Film productions LTD the company behind RLC and owned by Cathy and Phil Barry seems to be doing OKand still have cash, check the finance balance sheet info from the end of May 2015 to the end of May 2016, this is info from after they left TV if i'm not mistaken ,

Maybe they're doing ok
because they've been off the tv, with the associated costs. That could be why they don't seem in any hurry to get back.

I was thinking that, the figures seem to be better after they left tv (2015-2016) compared to those from their last year on tv (2014-2015).
The company has been going for more than 20 years, the majority of that time they weren't running phone in babe channels .
^ And yet from what we have heard from winsaw and others, they do want a return to TV. Or a least did a few months back.

i think the biggest problem we have today is that there are no small independent channels anymore where the girls can go to learn and get good where the pressure is not on them,
its interesting seeing snookered147 talk about Yasmine being a star from the off at RLC and taking it like Kerrie has at bs because she didn't,
when she started she was a failure who gt the sack for low call stats but she was lucky in that she got a job at XP where she learned the shows and came back to RLC 6 months later and became a super star,
this makes my point perfectly girls use to have a safety net when starting out as if it didn't work out they could go somewhere else get good and work there way back up, today most just fall out of the babeshows all together as there is no way to get back in,
we need more channels like XP who don't expect girls to be stars from day one,
i have heard of girls getting criticized after 3 shows for not matching the girl on the next bed who has 10 years on the shows call stat wise, that needs to stop,
we need more girls to get what Lola had time, its like she was in a different universe to everyone else as i cant think of another girl in the last 5 years who has been given 12 months on a main channel to get good,
really hope 66 she what they have done with her and dont pull the trigger so fast in the future,
agree winsaw, there isn't any small independent channels which babeshow babes can fall back on as a safety net to work their way back up or to learn their craft before going on to a bigger babeshow.
yasmine james is a good example, but a better example are the 3 current top nightbabes who are in my opinion Nicole Snow, Lola Knight and Kerrie-Lee. all 3 of them learned their craft on smaller channels (xpanded & storm) and are now the top babes on their current babeshow (s66 and BS)
and xpanded was a safety net when storm finished, quite a few storm babes are now doing well on xpanded

Rlc made a profit then on tv and it still makes a profit now, what you have to remember is there overhead are so much smaller then the other channels as they have always been part of a bigger company,
You are right they do want to come back to tv but at the right price, last year it nearly happened until they where gazumped by another channel offering a lot more money,
Rlc have always been the most profitable show as they have always been carefull not to over reach,
They have also been lucky in that there web show makes more money than they ever thought it would, so can wait for the right deal,
^ Nice summary Winsaw.
RLC sources told me today that they hope the return to TV this year and are looking at various innovations. I sincerely hope they do, they are much missed on the channels. And there is still no substitute for a broadcast presence at the end of the day.
