I was just being daft and flippant .
The nightshows are in a fairly parlous state and I, more than most have voiced opinions to that effect all year long and make no apology for it either.
I take your point.
When it gets to a stage when the turn on factor of a walk on girl at the darts seems more enticing and exciting than the over familiarity of predictable nightshow routine with little or no imagination being shown it is rather sad.
The wonder of whether the walk on girl might do a better job.
I get that.

Every single babe on every channel is either on a bed set, office set or platform set bar Priya who is that bloody awful Regency set.
No imagination whatsoever.
All the channels going down the same cul-de-sac of tedium.
No exciting, stimulating sets at all.
Pretty much all of them going through the same old routine.
Depressing.

Some great poetry there, man. It really depicts the direness of the current 'platform'.

It just defeats the whole point of nightshows for me when all the channels are just copycatting each other in their painful lack of variety, creativity or imagination.
They are all happy to feed us a staple diet of crap.
Really mind numbing.

I was actually just watching Beth in the BS office set, and now Sophie Hart following her in the same set; and was thinking -

here is Beth using a set in a way that you don't see often enough. She acts like she literally can't sit still because she's too horny to do so. And moving around towards and away from the camera. And then she's going from the chair up onto the desk, and then lying on her back head towards the camera etc.
And the camera seems to be responding to this and not just sitting holding her in a static mid-wide shot. And this is all BSXtra "Freeview rules" before 10:30 she can even go topless.
And then Sophie comes in and can shed some more clothes cos we're post 10:30pm; and the camera is shooting her on the chair from a fairly low and close angle emphasising her legs - presumably at the callers' request ?
Plus they both came on in costumes and not just underwear from the get-go : which is fine I think, more interesting imo.
So my impression from this brief 20 minutes or so I was watching the channel was that the babes were making an effort and I was seeing poses that I tend not to see all babes doing as often as the "standard" bend over the desk or sit on desk legs spread etc. (Which of course are still perfectly valid, but it's better for the viewer and caller if they're mixed up a bit).

(My late lamented Lolly I would suggest was good at this - whether you liked her or not, I think you would concede she didn't normally just sit on her arse but did make an effort to work the sets and get into different poses.

I see the same thing in Beth : there is an enthusiasm that just comes through - and I think casual viewers probably pick up on it unconsciously : the babe just SEEMS more interested even if you're not really aware why you think that is : my theory is that tends to happen more when the babe is ACTING interested with her WHOLE body and moving about like she is actually imagining she's actually doing a seduction act and having it away all over the place. It's more than just pulling a face.)

I do agree variety of sets is desirable, and BS seem to have cut back or altered a number to make them more generic, since their "relaunch"(?) last year when the gym and the sauna etc all came in. Which is a shame imo. Water seems to be tricky for BS. Not sure why the "paddling pool" isn't used more often - Maddie's oily escapades in that were great and seemed well received but I've not seen it used since ? (though admittedly I watch less during the week than some others).

^ That's fair enough. Me personally I've always liked the "sexy secretary" scenario. I don't think it's used very effectively though.

I guess I was commenting on Beth cos it was the first time I was aware of being interested in that kind of way in a performance on that office set for quite some time.
Generally I think babes tend to use the office set just like any other - ie. go through about 3 or 4 poses and that's it. It's more understandable to me when you're on a featureless platform - when you're in a room with a chair and a desk etc there's - imo - a little more variety possible, but it's not always exploited and the standard poses are just deployed regardless.

Sometimes that's enough though - I'll usually take Preeti bent over that desk anytime . But there will be times I'll see even her in there doing that and think - oh no, not again, I can't really be bothered tonight.

But I feel the themed set - whether it's office or whatever SHOULD be capable of being used in different ways more easily than these platform sets : anything better than just 3 walls and a floor and a plinth should give the scope for a bit of variety ? And to me that should lead to better shows.

It doesn't always, but I'd rather there was SOMETHING that babes could work with than just a platform. Whether they make something of it or not comes back to my previous post in being down to the general enthusiasm of the babe for "working the room" and not just going through a series of standard moves : which is all you're going to get from a platform imo. Which is probably I think where your original post was coming from ?



My other problem with office sets is that I think the use of them has become tokenistic - if a babe is coming onto a set like that in a bra and thong; or some other kind of lingerie straightaway with no kind of even attempt at "tease" or role-play in some kind of costume - then to be honest why bother? - you might as well have a platform set/bed set. But I think then there would be even less chance of having performances that are slightly different if all the sets are just featureless.
(And it doesn't have to always be a secretary scenario, there are other scenarios that would work, be it a college or a library or whatever).

But I also get the feeling from your post that boredom with the set is just a symptom and not the wider disease : sounds like boredom with the shows in general. The real problem sounds like the performances - if they seem stale or whatever to you then chances are they probably are no matter what kind of set they're being done in ? And I can totally sympathise with that.

For me there's usually a few levels of interest/or lack of interest in the shows :

1. It's a babe that I find sexy regardless, and if she's on an off-night, the attraction might just about over-ride this. If she's "on form" and performing in an interesting way to me, then it's great.

2. It's a babe that I usually find sexy and will watch most times I know she's going to be on - but she's not really doing it for me and I've probably just watched/capped her too much that week; or she's appearing in too similar outfits/doing too a similar routine.

(Often there will be no logic I can see as to why on a given night Babe "A" will be up there at 1. for me, and then the next night that same Babe "A"doing the same things, she will be at 2. or even 3. )

3. It's a babe I'm not wild about, and she's not doing anything particularly interesting for me.

4. It's still a babe I'm not usually wild about, but she's looking different/hotter for some reason - could be the costume, could be using oil or whatever. Happens but not that often.

And with that I'm disappearing for the night - despite Beth being naked on a platform set and Jada in the boudoir in a kind of leotard thing and knee boots that's a bit of departure from her usual uniform : both babes I'd normally watch but just somehow tonight it's not happening.

And that's way too long and boring and navel-gazing - someone come in and make some kind of joke or swear at Offcom or something and get this thread back to normal please
