I'm sure others have done this but I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on here a Happy and peaceful New Year. Let's hope the politics settle down and the babe shows improve in 2017. Well, you can always hope!
I'd particularly like to thank those who've posted caps and vids of our favourites over the last year and hope they continue to do so. I know we often take their efforts for granted (I know I do!) and I don't always thank people as as much as I should, so here's to you guys ...
All the Best for 2017.

Agree a welcome return.
Ps, I enjoyed a lot the world of sport wrestling

Without any expansion, there is no hope for growth or change
at all. Yes, any new (or revived) channel would probably hire existing talent, because there's much existing talent currently not being used because there is no room! But there's no reason to suppose they wouldn't take chances on new talent (especially if it was cheaper).
Xpanded have I presume done the best of the main channels in hiring new talent this year (albeit much of which either goes elsewhere or back out the door). If you just don't welcome this talent, then that's hard luck. Maybe someone will come along that you do like.
its just like the football smaller club gets in the talent then the big 4 poach it
cant see the talent going back to RLC
If it's true about rlc and thy make it back to tv this year then they will not have trouble signing up girls,
They are a sure thing they got money behind them and know how to do a show so girls would not worry about moving there,
There will always be girls at the other channels who think they should be getting more shift's who will look to move, can think of some who are more local to Bristol who may go back,
Also some girls enjoyed working there which may help them get girls back
It's important to remember also that of the main channels rlc always was the one to give new girls a chance, a lot of the girls on the shows today got the debut there,
It would shake things up a bit and would be good for everyone,
but didnt cathy barries fella upset a few of them think they will have to splash the cash but do they have it i mean they have been out nearly 18 months

Mostly what doodle said (competition in any industry is always good for its consumers) except that "no room" at the channels is always a relative term isn't it. They think they have the best girls that they can get at any particular time is what it comes down to.
In terms of their survival on the shows, well known babes will always have the huge advantage of being able to draw on their established fan bases. This seems ever more crucial to the industry. It encourages its babes to build these loyal crowds for what must be good reasons. It recruits established porn stars not only because they are accustomed to aspects of the work but because they also offer a short cut to this process - already having a following of sorts. This emphasis may well speak to a relatively small customer base in general for the channels; one that they draw on heavily time and again. Anyway, regardless of its size, this faction of fans is obviously seen as important to the operators and 'marquee' names, no matter how old hat they may seem to some of us on here, likely just tap that source with a consistency and reliabilty that is hard to counter.
Also, although there does seem to be this element of playing safe in terms of developing new talent, I'm not at all sure that there is a huge slew of exciting nubiles queuing round the block to be on the channels! The poor rate of new faces that appear could be more to do with a recruitment problem than anything else. I'm talking about the real top talent here; ones that would stand a good chance of breaking the existing cartel...
Xpanded do seem to do the best at it but even there it's hardly a rotating door. Three main operators and this is all we see? You have to ask yourself how the industry is being viewed by it's prospective employees these days. Is it seen as an attractive and vibrant prospect with as much to offer any more? This has always been a niche industry producing socially awkward content, there may be less to compensate against being part of that for newcomers now.
In addition, the associated businesses that used to pull talent towards the shows have faultered and dwindled over the last decade or so.
I think we have to reconcile ourselves to the thought that perhaps the glamour industry simply no longer holds the level of cache for a fit young lass wanting a bit of exposure that it once did. There is surely less add on work to be had and maybe just less reason to come to it afresh than there once was.
Both new channels and new girls seem to struggle to get established.
We have seen S66 introduce a number of new girls this last 12-18 months only for them to fade away after a few weeks. I don't think the channels train, support or nurture them enough. They seem to expect instant results? Some have seemed very under confident and it has come through in their performances, and have struggled to get the calls. That is a vicious cycle, because poor call stats will hammer a babe's confidence still further.
That's true. Some form of training should be given to new hosts, especially in regards to when they talk on the microphone to entice more callers.
Some babes just have the natural gift in front of the camera & some don't. Don't think any training, outside instructions on what a babe can or cannot do, will have any real impact. Most get by just on looks or how good they are on the phone.
The more veteren performers had the advantage of establishing their fanbases in the good old days of the channels letting them perform really hot shows. No pervcam too. The newer babes have it more harder now, with all the restrictions now.
