I don't mind re opening it if that's what you guys want because the Nominations round is nearing it's conclusion and i will probably revert back to my original format of a random draw from the Quarter-Finals until the Final and if it is re opened i will add on a couple days of voting for those that haven't voted because after all a hole day was missed of voting because of it being closed yesterday.

Running awards at a different time, still means too many awards.

Open a sub-forum for Polls, so anatomist obsessives can have as many "Best Body Part" polls as they like without sending the rest of us to sleep/anger.

I see no reason as to why all the comps cannot be run and completed between late October and around 20th December.
The key things for me would be to slim down some of them to a minimal number of rounds and reduced time frame for completion.
For example Body of the year is due for completion within 11-12 days of it starting and with only 3 rounds of voting. Empress of Xpanded which will start tomorrow will be completed within a similar timescale. I would maybe suggest the same timescale and/or rounds principle could be applied to all individual channel comps.
The Ultimate all channel comps could maybe have longer periods of voting on basis that voting is over a larger talent pool.

So just as an example........ nothing definitive - just an example

Tits of the year and Booty of the year could be done between 24th October and
5th November.
Then the Body of the year between 6th November and 17th November.

Then the channel specific comps between 18th November and 29th November.

Then Ultimate (all channel comps from 1st December) with longer period of voting due to prestige.

To do it like this over a period prevents too much overlapping.
I have not included Hall of Fame that starts earlier in the year anyway so has no effect.

Just a thought......

When i was running my awards i had a 3 day limit between each round so i was doing the same thing that Snookered is doing.

A part from that Babelover your idea is a great idea having awards run from September to January why didn't anyone think of that ages ago that way the awards won't be muddled up and confusing and that way we can get on with voting once a month maybe twice a month instead of eight times in a hole month that is so much easier.

Still haven't updated it yet Turkdesire but thanks for pointing that out.

It depends if the Mods like the sports personality award thing enough and incorporate it into the forum awards somehow, as that I feel is where it belongs, not as individual competition. I am sure many have seen SPOTY line up for this year and I feel that only real probable winner would be Dina Asher Smith. I am sure many of us have our own idea of the winner and I feel we probably could nominate sports stars who we as forum collectively, feel we have produced excellent performances in their chosen field, and if we honour our sports star the same way as we honour the babes, I am sure it may prove popular but like I said, it depends if the mods like the idea enough first to give it try and see how it works out. It may e a little too late for this year but maybe next year? But if we was to honour a sports personality this then I am more than happy to run it based on the BBC nominated list. but only the main award list I won't go the whole hog of Coach of the year or Team of the year but if that is what you guys would like to do then let me know.

I get where you are coming from But i think it may have to be a Competition program that the mods would have to come up and those that run the comps are in agreement with whatever the mods decide is a good suitable period/timescale. I still think the Tits and body type comps should run in January leaving early to end Sept for nominations rounds only, then start of October to end of November for comps proper but it has to work so that not too many awards over lap each other and one award starts as another award ends, but also keeping to a timescale that allows this to happen smoothly. I think December should left solely for the forum Awards and I feel many feel a break from voting in comps may be in need and we only have the one major ceremony in December.
