At BS and 66, by and large (particularly as regards day babes), the more loyal and sizeable a customer base a babe has built up, the more the perceived wisdom seems to have it they can and should hide away from fta whenever they are on the web. There is no interest in attempting to take money from the widest audience possible apparently; only in bleeding the enternally converted dry.
Calling is the original gateway drug for the channels. It binds the punter as invested, loyal and frequently besotted. But calling's power has waned over the years. The chatboxes and things like 66chat are (lame in the latter's case as it turned out) attempts to accomplish the same bridge head for the camming only punter.
Further services can be more easily leveraged to the converted commited customer. The babe will label further payment as essential to get to where the real action. The more expensive the better. And conveniently with fewer people overseeing each time to say if the service the guy is getting is VFM or not... All the way down to privates (which at BS sometimes are no such thing as they let guys on other platforms look or listen in if they pay to do so).
I can think of five reasons that seem likely for babes wanting to do web onlys mostly behind paywalls...
• Decreased visibility of the babe's hardest content; with less footprint left to be detrimental on babe's life after the channels;
• Trying to keep a larger crowd happy is harder work than doing so for a same band of regulars;
• Less scope for critque;
• Non-paywall output of hard content would increase expectations on other babes to do the same levels;
• Less chance of the channel's poor tech falling over with fewer guys on the streams; less expensive bandwidth costs required, etc.

Lol soz. That post was hastily written. When that happens I can end up with sentences that are too long and occasionally impenetrable.
I meant once a babe has you as a regular caller she can persuade you to further spending more easily than from cold. Get you to spend on perv, tip and privates. All while you're still calling, she hopes. You're successfully converted from just viewing and become properly committed to spending on the various aspects of the channels.
I know most forumites will know all this - how the babes engender feelings of trust and loyalty in their punters as they do it. But I'm trying to say how that process fits in with babes that can afford to just focus on their regulars once on they do web only streams. And why they might chose that way of working on the web even though other ways might be more profitable. (In contrast newbie babes coming to the web afresh can't usually sit behind a paywall for long periods and hope to get enough steady custom to stay busy; they haven't put in the TV ground work to facilitate that.)

If and when a channel babe is doing a shift should they work out a plan let's say they do a 5 hour shift wouldn't it be better for them to mix it up with using the paywall as well as doing there own show on screen this way they can maximize there show and time the traffic in a babe show might dry up so they could go and have a break and then sit behind the paywall for a while and come back on and see if the traffic has got better if not go back behind the paywall
We all know what the problems with the babeshows are - pervcam and going private.
What is the solution?
It's up to the punters, especially those who go private and use pervcam. They need to STOP!
But will they stop?
I doubt it. They have been suckered into a tasty trap and are too stupid to realise it. Some of them spend huge amounts of money and for what - wanking off to a girl who couldn't care less about them!
