^ Yep, for some time now (but particularly since the arrival of pervcam* ), it's been the full-on, 'pay to see anything' attitude that, by and large, has been the pervasive one amongst the broadcasters.

Recently, I dug out a few recordings of old shows, and the ones that first came to hand were from 2014 & 15, so well beyond the glory years, and in absolute terms 'not that great', but, it's amazing (and somewhat depressing) to see how much better they are compared to April 2016* onwards.

You can always tell when things are particularly dire on the channels, as 'we' have to find other sources of entertainment, such as the recent postings in both the S66 and, in particular, Lametstation chat threads.

Perhaps they're taking things easy, saving their energy, prior to the 'move' today on FV?

I'm expecting nothing less than full-on, hardcore filth when they 'return' in their new postions.

On the new sets point, you're probably right. But we raised this issue before and you said there was little point asking for it, because it won't happen.

There's not a lack of imagination on all the channels. Are you saying you're not a fan of BS' roaming cams? Wasn't camera movement something you were crying out for in Studio 66's thread? Well BS are doing that.

The roaming cams aren't just limited to listen in lines either. I just don't agree it's all bad, across all the channels.

SO many of BS recent changes have been done more for their benefit than to enhance the quality of visual stimulation on offer to traditional callers, so yes the provision of new sets and the use of roving cameras are to be welcomed.

BUT it is the implementation once that we get to the latter and the use of the new sets that is still lacking at BS for me. The 'action' on the regular streams is all so perfunctory these days. That is the real lack of imagination that snooks is refering to. Where is the drive, the expression of passion (it was there from Alice, Ashley and Nicole, to name just three, last year); where is any sense of heat created? The answer is it is now being reserved firmly for elsewhere.

I find it incredible that callers can be getting off to anything but the babe's words on the regular BS channels now. Don't expect them to make much use of the TV is all.

Part of this is because the caller is now being targeted in a different way of course. He is now expected to dip into his pocket once more in order to get the fuller experience. To enhance that draw the original product has now been whittled away to virtually nothing.

Where once our TV screens became part of what was being sold to the caller now your box in the corner is only needed to announce that each babe is there and available (hence the arrival of the dreaded curtain to the main channels). The real deal is now confined to webcams - where sharp practices make up for less than sharp images.

The curtain and this general stance will only pervade further from here I fear. The only things bigger about BS from here on being its haberdashery budget and the number of babes that we'll see in DBS. And the only things naughtier wont be anywhere near your TV screens.

The VFM aspect of the channels has decreased HUGELY over the last couple of years. It has been done with little subtlety or stealth and yet guys are still propping up the house of cards. If it ends it's hard to see it not ending badly atm. Enough guys may remain duped however.

Shandyhand I'm going to reply to some of your points in stages, so I'll try and set it out in a similarly eloquent format to how you have.

There was a thread created on this forum for people to post ideas for new sets on Babestation. A viewer's wishlist if you like, where people had the opportunity to express what they felt was lacking in the current studios and to suggest an improvement that would increase interest in the channel. A number of people made very good suggestions in that thread. I still agree that the current studio sets on BS are tired and need an upgrade. I just find it strange that people are saying this now when the same people were saying in that thread there's no point asking for them because it won't happen.

Well perhaps, just perhaps, BS producers saw the comments about it having no chance to happen and thought "stuff it - we were considering things but now if any changes are unwelcome we won't bother." It's just a possible thought process that the show's people can have after reading negative comments. People are entitled to say those things of course, I've got no problem with people expressing a view. Remember though that the show's bosses could also have a view that changes their mind about possible upgrades.

Now, the examples you've raised re: the drive from Alice, Nicole and Ashley. I'll say in response that Alice and Nicole still have the drive. A number of people have commented on Alice's roaming POVs and Nicole's recent shower set. I think that both Alice and Nicole have had exceptional years so far, as much as the current surroundings will allow. For me they are two girls who still push themselves to deliver a performance. This is all from a viewer's only point of view, I accept I cannot afford to spend money on calls.

Ashley on the other hand I agree with you that she has lost a drive. In fact I'd even suggest she never really had it in the first place. When you consider that she still has not done one front facing, naked, roaming cam, POV set and certainly no shower. She may have done some of that behind that stupid curtain on the web but of course we'll never know. She looks amazing naked, great. But her performances are tame. Alice, Nicole, Dannii, Sophie, the twins, even Penny last night - they continue to at least try to perform.

I've enjoyed BS' shows more than Studio 66. I think that there are far more intrusive and frequent DBS on S66 than BS. I think that girls have more opportunities for invention, imagination and to try to provide value for money than their S66 counterparts. Which is why I made my original post about not thinking it's poor across all channels. I think S66 have great performers but feel they are shackled by frustrating policies a lot more than BS performers are.

Granted there have been many changes in all the channels policies since they began ten years ago. I'm not sure with current regulations that any of that golden age can come back. So I do get members' frustration considering how good and innovative the channels used to be. I just think, and hope, that the house of cards you've mentioned isn't ready to fall yet. Otherwise what else would we talk about?

Doubles the revenue per wank. Make the TV feed purely advertising for the "show".
